4.Brothers

The rest of the week we were in a routine. We would have breakfast and dinners together, and I would sit in the library most days, Noah always in the office or in his study in the house. I heard voices and I decided to go look. I saw Adam and I smiled, he was talking to Jerome. "Adam, how are you?" I asked him, and he also smiled, giving me a hug. "Emmy, I am good and you?" "I'm good thanks, were you looking for Noah?" I asked, and he nods "he is at the office today'' I say, and he nods ''Yeah Jerome told me, so you are alone in this big house?'' he asks, and we walk to the kitchen to get us something to drink. "Yeah, it gets boring sometimes." I say and he nods again. ''So come let me, and you go do something fun." he says, and I frown, I don't know if Noah will approve. I thought, why not let me just phone Noah and tell him. "Okay, let me just go dress into something nicer." I said and Adam nodded, and I walked to our bedroom. I called Noah and he answered almost immediately. "Emmy, is everything alright?" "Yes, everything is fine, I just wanted to let you know Adam and I are going to get some lunch." I said, and I could hear him take a deep breath. "Why is my brother there?'' He asks, and I frown, ''I don't know, he was looking for you" I say, and I can hear he is talking to someone else. "I can hear you are busy, I just wanted to let you know where I am okay." I say and he sighs. "Emmy, I told you to stay away from my brother." he says, and I frown." Okay but I really want to get out of the house a little bit, and he offered, so I said yes, I am not asking Noah I am telling you." I say pulling a dress over my head. "We will talk about this when I get home." he says, and I bite my lip. "See you later Noah" I say, and he said goodbye I walked downstairs and me and Adam left

We had a perfect day, and I laughed a lot. We had lunch, and then he showed me a beautiful place next to the river. I never knew Monaco had such beautiful places. It was getting late, and I told Adam we should go back, and he drove me back home. I invited him in and he just shaked his head saying he was going out with friends. I kissed his cheek and thanked him again, then I walked into the house. I felt something was wrong, and I walked to the kitchen and I saw Noah sitting there with a whiskey in his hand. "Hi", I greeted him, walking to the fridge to get water. "Where the f**k were you Emmy?" he finally spoke, and I looked at him confused. "I told you out with Adam" "You said you were going for lunch its past 6 already so where were you the whole time?" he asks standing up to get more whiskey I look at him in disbelief, and he was watching me sipping his drink. ''He showed me some places in Monaco." I say, and he nods, I can see he is angry. "What is the problem Noah?" I ask folding my arms, and he throws his glass against the wall and I jumped getting scared. "THE PROBLEM EMMY IS I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM MY BROTHER AND STILL YOU DISOBEY ME'' he shouts, and I was shock he was really mad.

"I will not talk to you when you are like this." I said, walking to go to our bedroom. He grabbed my arm and looked me in the eyes. ''From now on, everything will change. You asked to be treated with respect and I did. It's not working, so now I will treat you like the child you are. Do we understand each other?'' he asked me and I could see there was nothing in his eyes.'' I am not a child and I will not let you treat me like one. I am not your property Noah, if you want a pathetic little girl that will say yes to everything you say, please go find one, I am not here to be treated like s**t'' I said, pulling my arm from him and just as I was almost out the door he said. "You can say goodbye to your studies, I am not paying for anything." I spun around and looked at him, he is already busy pouring him another drink. "f**k you, Noah Brooks, I started believing you had a heart, but now I know I was wrong, you have no heart, I hate you." I say wiping a tear from my face storming to the bedroom and dressing into something comfortable, I took a blanket and a pillow I am going to sleep in the library.

I was crying because he was using my studies against me. I scrolled through my phone and I saw I had a text from Adam. ''Hey, Emmy, thanks for today. It was so much fun. I am really sorry you met my brother first. If you are done playing house with the devil please contact me'' I just shake my head and don't reply. I eventually fell asleep so exhausted that I couldn't get a good day. I was woken up with someone staring at me and when I looked up I saw Noah looking at me.'' What do you want'' I asked, seeing what time it was? He just shook his head and came to sit next to me.'' I want you to understand that you need to stay away from my brother. I am not going to fight about it again," he said, and I cannot believe him.'' What is your problem with your brother?" I asked, standing up and folding the blanket. He just looked at me, and then he said, "Go pack you and I are going away for the weekend." I frowned and didn't say anything. He walked closer to me and lifted my chin up, "I will be a good husband to you, Emmy, but you have to be a good wife too." he said, and then he kissed me and walked out of the door. I walked out and went to the bedroom and took a shower and when I was done I put on a nice sundress. I realized I hadn't asked him what I should pack, and I walked to his office. I knocked, and he looked up from his laptop.'' Sorry just wanted to find out what I should pack? Is it cold or hot where we are going? He smiled and then said hot. I nodded and walked back to the bedroom.

I was busy packing, wondering if I should pack for him too, when he came in and took out a bag and started packing. We didn't speak and when I was done, I went downstairs to get some water and to wait for him. He came down, and he was talking to Jerome, who took our bags and I walked to him. "Ready?" he asked and I nodded. We drove to the docks and I looked at Noah. ''are we going on a boat?'' I asked, and he laughed, "Yes, a yacht to be more specific." he said, and I just nodded and got out of the car. Jerome took our bags to an amazing yacht and I looked at it in amazement. ''Do you like it?'' Noah asked, and I smiled, "it's beautiful'', I said, and we climbed onto the yacht.
