Summer Sutton was taken aback by him, her body shook a little. Adrian Walyon had already finished his breakfast, wiped his mouth, and stood up. He walked to the living room, sitting expressionlessly, waiting for her. Summer Sutton didn't want to stay in this villa for a moment longer, finished the porridge in a few gulps, stood up, and walked towards him, "Let's go!" She wasn't afraid of his recent warning; as long as she successfully escaped and moved to another place, what could he do to her? At this moment, Summer Sutton's thinking was still quite simple; she didn't believe that anyone could have such omniscient skills to know where she would be. However, what she didn't know was that this man in front of her could actually achieve such omniscience! Summer Sutton walked ahead, her steps light, seemingly in a good mood. Adrian Walyon followed leisurely behind her, and the two of them got in the car one after the other, with the driver taking them to a bustling shopping center. Standing at the entrance of a shopping mall, Summer Sutton stared at the floor directory, her mind turning, she suddenly said, "I want to go to the fourth floor." The fourth floor, dedicated to women's intimate apparel. She had just arrived at Adrian Walyon's place, and apart from this pre-prepared dress she was wearing, he hadn't prepared any change of clothes for her. Underwear and such were things every woman needed to have in stock. "Hm." Adrian Walyon responded indifferently to her, not saying much more. "Then let's go!" Summer Sutton's lips subtly lifted, as she stepped onto the escalator, heading straight to the fourth floor. Standing on the escalator, her fingers lightly tapping on the handrail, she was working out a little plan in her mind. Given Adrian Walyon's status, Summer Sutton figured he wouldn't be seen with her in a place selling women's intimate apparel. At least 1.88 meters tall, such a tall man appearing in such a place would certainly cause quite a stir, with a bunch of women staring at him. She didn't believe he wouldn't feel awkward. As long as he didn't enter with her, then she could run away as she pleased at that time. Summer Sutton's plan was well thought out, and once they reached the fourth floor, Adrian Walyon indeed stayed by the elevator entrance, not accompanying her shopping. "Take this, I'll wait here for you." He placed a card in her palm, coolly reminding her before she left, "I feel the need to remind Miss Sutton about what I said this morning: if you try to escape and I catch you, you'll be responsible for the consequences!" "You're overthinking. Why would I run? You're so good to me, how could I bear to run away?" Summer Sutton turned her head slightly to smile at him, pretending to be sincere. "Better be so!" Adrian Walyon indicated she could go in. Summer Sutton exhaled softly, glanced around, and chose a*****e quite far from where Adrian Walyon was standing. Just as she stepped into the store, not even warming the floor under her feet, a familiar voice suddenly sounded, "Summer Sutton!" Summer Sutton was momentarily stunned, turning her head to see who was calling her, her expression slightly freezing. In a custom Chanel dress, Gina Sutton slowly walked over to her, looking her up and down with disdain, snorting, "What a coincidence!" "What are you doing here?" Summer Sutton spoke with a tone so indifferent, as she had no bond with this cousin since childhood. With much flair, Gina Sutton brushed back her long hair, lifting her face with pride, "I've transferred to your Film Academy!" The Film Academy that Summer Sutton attended was the best in the nation. When she entered, she did so with the top school ranking, having put in a lot of effort in preparation. Now, however, Gina Sutton talked about transferring like it was nothing. Such is the power of capital! Yet, the school Summer Sutton attended was notoriously difficult to get into, and even harder to graduate from. "I hope you can graduate smoothly as well!" Summer Sutton's reaction was minimal. Gina Sutton's face froze. Transferring midway and changing her major, graduating would not be easy. Summer Sutton didn't plan on chatting much with her and turned to leave, but Gina Sutton called her back, "Summer Sutton, I'll probably be getting engaged soon." She spoke with pride, her chin held high, and it was clear that the family background of her fiancé must be very powerful, otherwise, she wouldn't be so smug. Summer Sutton didn't know who her fiancé was, nor did she care to show interest. "Really? Well, congratulations!" She offered a perfunctory congratulations, her gaze drifting towards where Adrian Walyon was. Adrian Walyon was far away, also looking at her at this moment. Summer Sutton, unable to escape under his scrutiny, dismissed the idea of leaving the store and pretended to browse intimate wear inside with her head down. She just wanted to keep a low profile, but unexpectedly, Gina Sutton kept chattering in her ear, "Aren't you curious about who I'm about to get engaged to?" "Sorry, I'm not curious." Summer Sutton replied without lifting her head. It's not her getting engaged, what was there to be curious about? Gina Sutton laughed lightly, fiddling with the diamond pendant on her chest, "Well, these things aren't something you can envy your way into, being curious won't help." Summer Sutton was stifled by her words. What was there for her to envy? Gina Sutton circled around her, looking her up and down, and suddenly noticed the card in her hand. A black card, given to her by Adrian Walyon earlier. A black card, the most prestigious type of card, issued by banks that require at least a billion in deposits to have one. Gina Sutton had always known Summer Sutton's situation. Ever since their grandfather passed, no one had cared for Summer Sutton, but over the years, she not only continued to live well, but could always afford tuition, and now had such a luxurious card. Who was she living with now? Seeing her expression, Gina Sutton went directly to the wrong conclusion. "Summer Sutton!" She grabbed her hand, wanting to question her situation, but Summer Sutton shook off her arm and left the store along with a few female customers who were also exiting. She walked briskly, dodging, as if escaping from something. Summer Sutton was actually avoiding Adrian Walyon, but again Gina Sutton misunderstood. Running away even before she questioned? Could she be feeling guilty? She must have someone supporting her, right? Surely! Gina Sutton was convinced she had guessed correctly, feeling an additional layer of contempt for Summer Sutton. She's a disgrace to the Sutton Family! After leaving the store, Summer Sutton quickened her pace. Adrian Walyon was still waiting for her, and if she didn't appear for too long, he would surely come looking for her. The floor had two sets of elevators, one being the lift and the other the escalator where Adrian Walyon stood. Summer Sutton found the lift, got in, pressed the button for the first floor, and headed straight for the street after exiting the mall. "Take me to the Film Academy!" She hailed a taxi, got in, and gave the address. The driver took her towards the school.
