Chapter 9Ben fiddled nervously in his chair as he waited to hear if he would get a part in the Skyline’s new show. Sure, it wasn’t a main role he was up for. Just a member of the singing and dancing chorus. Still it was a huge step for him if he got the part. If he didn’t…he’d be looking at being Elvis again in a hotel downtown.
He’d purposely chosen a seat between two women who were also waiting to hear and on the opposite end of Alejandro who waited with the others. Ben noticed the looks Alejandro sent his way, but he deliberately ignored him.
