The wolf was so close now and I grown tired of this chase. He was running erratically now at first it had been like he was trying to outrun me but now he was frantic he was zigzagging in a crazy path that crises crossed through the trees. He was fast but he wasn't going to get away from me. I saw him stumble and tumble to the ground. I jumped through the trees and landed next to the fallen boy. I smiled seeing his legs twitching erratically he was scared and that fear had triggered an automatic shift he could stop it but not while running for his life through the forest. I grabbed the boy's shoulders and hauled him up to his knees slinging my arm across his chest.
