Amy hadn't stopped for more than a few minutes since we left school that morning, the longest pause had been to pull a thin rain Mac and a snack from her bag. I was pleased to see that most of her bag was filled with snacks, though I was feeling the effects of my increased wolf metabolism I hadn't adapted enough to actually plan for it. Amy had grown more solemn throughout the day and as we moved on she became more and more silent.
