Liora’s POV
Sunday morning was quieter than I expected.
I woke without an alarm, the sunlight already filtering through the curtains, and for a few moments I stayed beneath the covers, enjoying the fact that I didn't have to rush anywhere. There was no office waiting for me, no meetings, and no reason to think about work until tomorrow. I reached for my phone and checked the time before I remembered Mina was still in the apartment.
The thought made me hesitate.
After what had happened between us the night before, I wasn't sure what the morning would feel like. I didn't want another argument, but I also didn't want to pretend everything was fine when it wasn't. I had told Ezra I needed space to decide what I wanted to do, and I intended to give myself that space.
