Liora's POV I couldn't stop thinking about Clara's daughter. The image followed me home, followed me through dinner, and followed me into bed. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the little girl standing in the hallway clutching Clara's hand. I saw the way she had flinched when the male voice echoed from deeper inside the apartment.
