Ezra’s POV I spent most of the morning arguing, but unfortunately, I was losing. The board meeting from the day before should have settled things, but instead it seemed to make everyone more nervous. Every few hours another partner stopped by my office. Some were concerned about the firm's reputation, some were worried about clients and others were simply trying to protect themselves. None of them seemed interested in the truth. I was halfway through reviewing a contract when someone knocked on my office door. "Come in."
