"What's the current status of the pack, Elijah?" I asked my beta as we were nearing the end of our meeting going on in my study.
"The borders are safe, no intrusion so far, we lack nothing, both in food, daily necessities, weapons, warriors, and servants." Elijah recited as if he had spent all night memorizing it. "Here are all the bookkeepers' details and reports."
