CHAPTER THIRTEEN The weeping stopped as Josef approached. The stoa above shadowed the woman on the seat though there was enough moonlight to pick out the pink of her dress. ‘Are you all right?’ he said raising his voice over the music from the hall and approaching with slow, hesitant steps, conscious that he was intruding on a very personal moment.
