“What about the sleigh bells?” I pondered if that answer would provide a better explanation. April bit her lip as she gathered her coat and briefcase. “Dermot's were not on the sleigh bells. We haven't finished testing the blood nor received the toxicology reports. I told you that already. Shouldn't you be preparing for your trip to Scotland in a couple of weeks?” “Nope. I'll deal with that after Christmas. Good try, though. There's something you're not telling me. You found other prints on the sleigh bells, didn't you?” I watched as April's nose wiggled; that was how I knew she wasn't being totally upfront. “Yes. Porter's prints were on them, which meant he could've been the person to rip them off Gia's costume, assuming her story about tearing the dress on Santa's Workshop was a lie.”
