It is already 10 am and I was going to Malik's office as he told me. "Hey babe you aren't going to work?" I said to Ari while picking up my phone and putting it in my purse. "Nope" I stopped and looked at her "why so?" She then answered " not until 1 pm". Ooh that makes sense "okay gotta go. Bye b***h love you" I yelled while opening the door.

I heard an I love you too after closing the door. I took the elevator and arrived at the lobby. "Hello Paul how are you?" I said to Paul meeting him at the lobby. Paul is a man in his late fifties who is also living in this apartment complex.

His wife named Marie is a very kind old lady. They are highschool sweetheart and still love each other very much. They have three children and all of them are abroad.

Ooh I will like to have somebody who will love me like he loves his wife. "Don't worry dear you will have that someone" he answered. huh did I said that loud " yes you did" he said again while chuckling. That mouth of mine doesn't know how to shut up.

Then my slow working brain decided to remind me that the reason that I was going out is for job hunting. "Ooh s**t. I need to go bye Paul" I said while sprinting out " bye and no cursing" Paul scolded. I just laughed and went to catch the bus.

There were whimperings coming from an alley. It was so faint almost inaudible so, I decided to mind my own business. But then it started again. Being the miss curious I am decided to go and check.

As I was getting closer the sound became more and more audible and then I saw two men surrounding a girl, they didn't see me yet since I was hiding behind a dustbin but been the clumsy human I am decided it was time to slip and make noise. "s**t there is somebody let go" I heard one voice slurred then followed by footsteps running off.

Since the way was clear I peeped and looked above the bin. There was a girl crying so I ran to her. " Hey are you okay" I asked "what am I even saying of course you are not okay" I replied to myself.

The girl was just looking at me maybe wondering if I am normal or crazy. "I am fine" she replied. She is a blonde girl with green eyes. She was sniffing and it was then I noticed clothes spread around and suitcases were opened.

She started stuffing her clothes in her cases "let me help you" I offered her. We finished packing everything and we went out of the alley. "Where are you going?" I asked looking at her "hummm... I don't know but I will manage" she replied and tried to get away from me. I stood in front of her "no I will not let you go alone come with me" I said picking two of her suitcases and went toward my apartment building.

She wanted to protest but I didn't allow her. "What is your name" she asked me "Zeinab and you?" "Skylar" she answered. I unlocked our apartment door with my keys and entered with Skylar tailing behind me " Zeina is that you" I heard Ari shouting while coming downstairs "yeah it is me" I told her settling myself on the couch. "What...." She cut herself from continuing when her eyes landed on Skylar "who is she" she asked " I am Skylar Laine Grey" Skylar replied. Then Ari hugged her. " She is staying with us" I said when they broke apart. "Okay that's fine with me" Ari answered while shrugging.

She then looked at me and frowned "aren't you suppose to go for a job interview?" Then I suddenly remembered where i was heading to before getting caught up. I looked at the time it is 10:50 am " ohh Ya ALLAH what did I do. I need to go we will sort it out later. Bye" I rushed out and hailed a cab. " To Abdallah Corporation please." He nodded.

It was a half an hour driving from our home to his office. A big, tall building came into view and it was definitely beautiful. It was screaming money. The driver stopped the car and I went out giving him has money and entering the building. It was beautiful and shining and was cleaned spotless. People were running in business suits, some with phones glued to their ears and others with files and folders in their hands.

I was gawking at the lobby nearly forgetting why I was here. Picking up my jaws from the floor, i made my way to the reception. There was a beautiful blonde behind the counter with her hair up in a beautiful neat bun. She was busy typing something on the computer infront of her that she didn't notice me.

I cleared my throat then she looked up and smiled " hello how may I help you miss.." she ask me politely. "Yes I am here to meet Mr Abdel Malik" I replied looking at her name tag which was written Talia. "Do you have an appointment" she asked me again "no but he gave me this card to show at the reception" I said showing her the card. "Okay. Take the elevator to the fiftieth floor you will meet Lauren and ask her to take you to Mr Abdallah's office". She said pointing to the elevator.

I smiled and said "thanks. Good bye". I said making my way to the elevator. I entered the elevator and pressed the button to the fiftieth floor waiting anxiously. Ping I heard the annoying sound of the lift indicating that I have arrived my destination.

I stepped out and met a young lady sitting in an open office. "Hello. I am Zeinab Sali and I'm here to meet Mr Abdel Malik" I said as she noticed me. "Hello I am Lauren David his assistant come I will show you to his office". She said while standing up and going out and I followed her. We arrive in front of a big wooden door written CEO and Malik's name on it.

She knocked and opened it. " Sir the girl has arrived" she signal me to come in and I stepped inside. "Hello sis" Malik greeted me cheerfully as I entered his office. "Miss David you can leave".

Lauren nodded and left. "Hello Malik how are you doing?" I replied realising I didn't greet him back "come take a seat". I walked inside and took a seat.

His office was very beautiful with cream paint. There is a L-shaped couch with a coffee table in the middle and a Flat Tv screen. "So if we talk about what we are here" he said in a business tone "I want you to be my personal assistant" I furrowed my eyebrows "but Miss David is your assistant not so" I asked "yes and you will work with her". I just nodded. " You will be paid every two weeks" he said before pressing the intercom "Lauren come to my office".

Some seconds later Lauren appeared "I told you everything yesterday. You people can start working if there is no problem Zeinab" he turned to me "of course sir there is no problem" i replied standing up " see you later sis" Malik said grinning at me. "After bro" I grinned back at him heading to the door with Lauren.

As I stepped inside Lauren office, she tackle me with a side hug squealing " I will not be alone and bored again. You are here but tell me something though are you the boss relative because he is carefree with you" she asked "no he is just my brother like that" I replied shrugging.

She explained me what I was suppose to do to help her like answering calls, printing documents and bringing the boss' coffee.

I have finished working and now I am entering our apartment exhausted "I am home" I yelled slumping on the couch.

Thankfully that there was a room for praying at the office and I prayed all my prayers there because I and Lauren stayed late preparing some important documents for a big deal and I learned some basic things also.

"How was work" Ari asked while taking a seat near me "good and exhausting". " I want to talk to you guys Skylar appeared from the kitchen.

She took a seat infront of us and started " as you know I am Skylar Laine Grey. I am an orphan. My parents passed away in a terrible accident and I was the only one who survived. I live with my aunt and uncle but I was tortured there. My parents deposited a large amount of money in my account which will be taking care for my school fees. I can't touch the money. I worked as a waitress and gained some money so I decided to run away then Zeinab met me. That is all and I don't have any where to go". She finished with teary eyes.

We hugged her and I whispered "you can stay with us as long as you want okay". I am was tired so I decided to go to bed " goodnight guys take some rest see you tomorrow" I said yawning and making my way upstairs.

I took a shower, changed into my pjs made a Dua and went to sleep.
