Our Crossed Fate

💮 chapter 2 💮

I woke up around 5 am for my morning salat. After praying I wasn't sleepy longer so I decided to visit my social media.

Two hours has passed and I didn't realise until there was a knock on my door. " Come in" and a girl entered rolling a tray of mouth watering food. Pancakes, bread, egg, fruits everything was there I just dug into it and moaned softly when the sweetness touched my taste buds. I poured more chocolate syrup and continued eating like there was no tomorrow. I really love chocolate I can just pass my day eating it.

After my delicious breakfast there was the driver came and we were heading back to the campus that is what I thought but we stopped at a building he turned and said "miss..." he trailed off since he does not know my name "Sali" "yeah miss Sali I was asked to drive you here. The dean is waiting for you at the lobby let's go". I just nodded and opened the door.

He lead me in and the dean Mrs Walker whose name I just learned asked me to follow her I just rolled my eyes and did what I was doing since yesterday following people.

We entered the elevator and arrived at the last floor. There were four doors and we walked to the one at the corner. She opened the door and stepped in she turned around and started talking" miss Sali as you can see the rooms at the dorm weren't enough. So, since there are two of you remaining we decided to rent this apartment as a dorm for you. It is 15mins away from school. You will be given money for your groceries weekly and you will have monthly allowance. We expect you to be on your best behavior. Your roommate will be here by tomorrow" I smiled " thank you Mrs Walker and don't worry I will be on my best behaviour." " You have two weeks to settle and school will start after. Have a nice day" . "Thanks"

She smiled and was exiting the door when she turned saying " someone will be checking up on you people". I just nodded she closed the door at let me settle.

When I looked down I see my suitcases looking back and I am sure they are mocking at me that I have to drag them upstairs and unpack. " Pfff I really have a long day ahead" I muttered while making my way upstairs to look for my room.

As I am walking, I realised that the apartment is quite a decent one with one kitchen and a living room. All are furnished. There are three doors upstairs, I checked and I saw three bedrooms each with a walk in closet and a bathroom attached to it. I chooses the one at the corner. It is painted light blue and a huge king size bed was in the middle. I went down and carried my suitcases and came and unpacked.

3 hours later...

All is done. Cleaning, moping and dusting. It is just remaining decorating but that will be for another day. I prayed my Dhur salat and decided to whip something fast for me to eat. The fridge was full with everything. But me being me decided to do just a grilled sandwiche. After eating did the dishes and prayed Asr.

I wanted to go out but I know I will get lost so I will wait for the arrival of Ariana whom I pray should be friendly and knows the city so that we can roam around and most importantly know the number of the nearest place for us to order take out. I spend the remaining of the day watching TV shows and praying. At 10pm I decided to call it a night and went to bed.
