Luke is 20 and Calum is 10
|3 years later|
Luke's POV
I smiled as I step out of the car. I really miss being here, in my home. I decided to go home to study for the exams. I've been going to uni right now and its so hard to focus when your mind is at home. Calum cried when I said goodbye to him. He wants to come too but Joy talked to him and explained everything while I'm ruffling his hair. 'I promise I'll be back soon.'
So here I am. Its only been 2 months but I feel like its 2 years. Ben and Jack greeted me with a bro hug and helped me get my things.
Mum hugged me and we walked in. 'Daddy!' A familiar voice giggled. I saw Calum running towards me with a huge smile. I never understood why he started calling me daddy but he said I'm like a second father to him so I shrugged it off. 'Hey baby!' I smiled. f**k I missed my Clum Clum.
'I missed you daddy.' He said and peppered my face with small kisses. 'I missed you too baby.' I said and kissed his forehead.

I groaned and threw my pencil at the wall as well as my notebook. But after a few minutes of looking at it with a glare, I stood up and walked to it, getting it and head back to the couch. Why is calculus so hard? This is f*****g impossible. I just want to burn all of my notes and books.
I was trying to solve a problem when the door opened l, revealing a giggling Calum. 'Hi Daddy!' He said. He sat on my lap and looked at my notebook. 'Daddy, are you studying?' He asked looking at me. 'I am baby so be silent so daddy can understand this problem okay?' I said and he nodded.
After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Calum spoke up. 'Daddy, let's go play pengi!' Pengi, his stuffed penguin.
'Baby, I cant. Daddy needs to study.' I said. 'But Daddy! We won't play for too long!' He said and whined. 'Cal, I can't okay? Go play with your uncle Ben or your Uncle Jack.' I growled and ran a hand in my hair.
'But they're asleep.. Daddy please. You've been gone for a long time and pengi and I missed playing with you.' He whined.
'Cal, when I said no, no. Just go play with your Mama Liz or something.' I said getting more annoyed than I've been.
'But daddy! I want to play with you!' Calum whined loudly and slammed my notebook shut making me angry.
'Calum how can you be so annoying?! Can you just leave me alone?! You've stomped on my very last nerve Calum! Just play with yourself and stop annoying me okay?! God, you're so annoying.' I said angrily.
I didn't notice the fat tears that is falling from Calum's eyes until it fell on my hand. 'Baby are y-' 'You think that? I hate you! I'm not gonna play with you anymore! I hate you Luke! I hate you!' Calum said while crying loudly. He climbed down my lap and run to the door leaving it open.
'Baby, I'm sorry! I'll play with you soon.'

What the f**k am I thinking? He's a child for f***s sake. Usually he'll be over it within a few hours but 3 days have now passed and still no signs of my clumy.
Mum entered the room with a fresh laundry in her hand. 'Sweetie, Joy called and asked if you're free and I said you're studying so you can't.' Mum said.
'What?! Mum!' I said and grabbed a shirt from her hand before slipping it on and grabbed my slipper under the bed. 'Bye sweetie.'
I knocked on the door and Joy opened it. 'Oh Luke! I thought you weren't free?' Joy said.
'I wanted to take a break so.. Yeah.' I said. I'm so messed up right now. 'We were about to call Niall but good thing you showed up. Luke honey I'm a little upset with you from what you said to Calum.' Joy said straightforwardly.
'I know. I'm sorry, its just that I'm so annoyed and pissed at the moment so I have no control over myself. I'm sorry.' I said my feet suddenly became interesting.
'Its okay dear. But say sorry to him cause he hates you right now.' She said and went to the car. I saw a dressed Mali and she's glaring at me. f**k I messed up.
I got upstairs to Calum's room. I shook Calum softly, 'Wake up baby.' I said. He peaked his eyes but when he saw me, he closed it again and turned his back at me and I sighed. 'Baby I'm sorry, Daddy is just stressed out okay? He didn't mean does words.' I said and pulled him to a hug. 'B-but you said I-I was a-annoying!' He cried. 'I know baby, I'm sorry. I didn't meant that.' I said and he just nod.
'Do you promise not to tell me those words again?' He sniffed. 'I promise baby.' I said and he nodded. 'Then, I'll forgive you daddy.' He said and pecked me on the lips catching me off guard.
'Thank you baby. I don't know what I'll do if you stay mad at me. I love you baby.' I said and kissed his forehead.
'I love you too daddy.'
