Chapter 4

2444 Words
Lilith's POV I have to get out of here. Who the hell does he think he is? Treating me like that? I'm probably gonna get lost in these streets, but who the hell cares? He doesn't. So why should I? I arrived at a crossroad. A few cars passed by, whistling and screaming inappropriate things at me. In front of me, I saw a club. A place I hated, but maybe someone there might be able to help me get out of here. The people that walked by didn't seem interested in talking to me, avoiding me, and some looked at me with hunger in their eyes. I was afraid, and the club probably wouldn't have been the best place to find help, but I had to try. I opened the door to the club, entering slowly. The music booming in my ears made me feel a bit light headed. This music is cr*p. I don't know how people could listen to this. I grew up listening to classical music. It spoke to my soul. To me, they make the most beautiful sound. I saw the bar on the other side of the building. I tried scooting and pushing through the crowd that danced. I didn't know this place was going to be this packed and the strong smell of s*x hung in the air. Everyone seemed very s*xual, dancing tightly against each other. It was disgusting. As I made my way through the crowd, I see the bartender, flirting with a few girls at the bar. They all dressed skimpy and sl*tty. Wait, I'm also dressed like that. F*ck. I sighed and moved towards the bar quickly, hitting my hand on the surface a few times to get his attention. He looked toward me slowly. He gawked at my body and doesn't notice me asking him for directions. "Excuse me!" I yelled, annoyed with this pe***rt. He moved towards me slowly, biting his lip then licking his fangs. "What would you like, girly?" Girly? This guy has no brain cells left. He has a masculine body, and his shirt is perfectly hugged against his chest and torso. Looks like whatever he took to look like that, killed his brain and turned him into a pe***rt. "I just need directions. I have to get back to the city." I said aloud, but the music muffled my voice. He should've heard me, cause he's a vampire. At this point, I don't give a f*ck about them. I just want to get home. His fingers now braided themselves into my hair. He let go of my hair and gestured me to follow him. Maybe this guy isn't that bad after all. At least there was a youngish guy at the bar to take over. Stupid me followed him into the back. As he opened the door, he pulled my arm and threw me inside. I lifted my hands in front of me to cover my fall. He hurriedly closed the door behind him, towering over me. I tried to crawl away but these damn heels is making it very difficult. He grabbed my leg, pulling me towards him. He then unbuttoned his pants while he sat on top of me so that I don't get away. I was clawing at him, kicking and screaming. He was too strong for me. "A virgin girl with a sweet smell of blood. Makes me crazy." He said in a cold tone. His eyes were filled with lust. I screamed and pleaded, but he wouldn't let me go. The tears I held back earlier, came crashing down now. I didn't know what else to do. He lifted my dress and ripped off my p*****s. As he leaned down towards my neck to sink his fangs into my skin, I felt something hard poking my thigh. The door burst open. A dark figure grabbed the guy off of me and threw him out of the room. As this man came closer to me, I could see him more clearer now. He was even more handsome. His wavy brown hair looked so soft and his eyes were dark. He was built a bit smaller than the guy that just tried to r**e me. I felt so much fear. I never experienced anything quite like this. I was afraid he would hurt me as well. Even though he was handsome, I couldn't shake the feeling of him taking over. He kneeled down and held out his hand, hoping I would let him help me. "No, please. Please don't hurt me." I cried even more as I tried to scurry away. "It's okay. I won't hurt you." his voice seemed calm, and very polite. I looked up at him through my tears, and decided to take his hand. He pulled me, placing his arm around my body, gripping me tightly against him. His other arm tucked underneath my legs, hoisting me up. He didn't hold on to me tightly anymore. I think he was worried that he would break me. "Everything will be okay now. I'm going to take you upstairs so that you can clean yourself and maybe put on a fresh shirt. Unfortunately, I don't have any clothes that would fit such a small body." he chuckled with so much worry in his voice. "Thank you." I cried again, pressing my head against his chest, gripping and tugging on his shirt. He nodded and took me upstairs. "I have to put you down now to get my keys. Will you be able to stand?" I nodded and he placed me down slowly, trying not to make me fall. My legs were still trembling, but I still kept my composure. Honestly, I'm glad he saved me. I don't know him, but he made sure that I was safe. My lack of judgment got me into this mess in the first place, almost got me r***d, and now I'm trusting this man. I'm mentally screwed at this moment. He unlocked the door, opening it slowly. "This is my place. I figured this would be safer than my club." His club? So I'm standing in front of the owner that owns a vampire club? Feeding on innocent girls every night and having s*x with them. Maybe he brings girls in here to feed on them in private. My lack of judgment again. He walked in and started picking up dirty clothes from the floor and furniture. Throwing it into a basket nearby. He then started picking up blood bags that were all over the place. I took in a deep breath and his place only smelled like his cologne. "I'm sorry. I don't get visitors." he apologized and went back to cleaning. I slid off my shoes slowly, placing them next to a TV stand as I made my way into his apartment. This place looks like it could fall apart any moment. If he was the owner of the club downstairs, why live here? I closed the door behind me, watching him as he tries to tidy up his place. I guess he doesn't bring girls up here to feed on them. He said he doesn't get visitors. Is he all alone here? No friends? No family? I wouldn't be able to be alone. Yet, I let myself be alone tonight when I ran from William, but I was too pi**ed and frustrated to think about anything else. Lost in my train of thought, the guy disappeared for a moment and came back with a black t-shirt. He held it out towards me. I took the shirt and smiled slightly. "Thank you." "So, the bathroom is through there. You can take a shower if you'd like. I would prefer you staying the night. It's dangerous in this part of town. Especially at night. I'll sleep on the couch. You can have my bed." "No. You dont have to sacrifice your bed for me." I was more calm now that I knew that my lack of judgment at least got me to be here. With a guy I don't know. In his apartment. Alone. God dammit. "You've just been through a lot. Oh, I didn't catch your name. My name's Cole." he held his hand out towards me. I grabbed his hand softly, wincing at how cold his hand was. I shook his hand and smiled. "I'm Lilith. Nice to meet you Cole." He let go of my hand and smacked the sides of his legs. "Well, I better get back to work, and fire that i***t that tried to harm you. I'll be back in an hour or so." I nodded and he was gone in a flash. Vampire speed. Must be cool. I sighed and looked around. The kitchen was on my right side. The lounge on my left. This place was open plan. Would've been a great place if it didn't look like it would fall apart. The bedroom was in front of me. At least the bedroom has its own room. With moving doors on both sides. I entered the bedroom slowly. The bed was actually huge. Why does a single man like him even own a big bed like this? I chuckled and saw the bathroom on my right side. The bathroom looked kind of neat. Except for his clothes laying everywhere. I shook my head and placed the shirt he gave me onto the towel rack. In the shower, my thoughts started getting the better of me. Everything that has happened so far. I feel like I could c***it s*****e at this point. I'm still lost. I don't know where I am. I'm in a stranger's shower. How am I going to get home? I don't even have my phone on me. I can't let Mandy know where I am. I can't call my aunt. Tears started streaming down my cheeks as my thoughts only saddened me even more. I had a normal life and it was thrown upside down by my mom and William. The existence of witches and vampires still felt like a dream. I've only had bad experiences so far with vampires. They were exactly what I expected. They are monsters. I heard the front door open, hearing a familiar voice. "Honey, I'm home! I'm kidding! I take it you're still in the shower?!" Cole yelled from the lounge. I couldn't answer him. My voice would give away that I was crying. The bathroom door burst open and I saw Cole standing in the door way, worry clouded his eyes. I screamed and turned around, trying to cover my body. At least my hair was long enough to cover my a*s. Curled, my hair looked shorter than it usually is. " Oh sh*t, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to... I thought... Nevermind. I'm sorry!" he closed the door quickly. My heart pounded in my ears. I thought he was going to do to me what the other guy did. Cole has manners at least. His apology made me giggle. He seemed distraught. I climbed out of the shower, grabbing a towel that was next to Cole's shirt. I dried myself quickly so that I could just get dressed. His shirt almost sat like a dress on me, but it exposed a small part of my bum. I really am tiny and I should also make sure to cover my a*s seeing as my p*****s got ripped from my body by the brute. I opened the bathroom door and smelled something very delicious coming from the kitchen. I followed this amazing scent and saw Cole cooking. He was busy frying some bacon and eggs. It smelled amazing. "I hope you're hungry. This is all I can make." he chuckled while pointing the spatula at the bacon. "I'm starving! It smells amazing!" I sat on the bar stool that was placed in front of the island counter. I felt like a little girl for some reason. Wiggling my legs and folding my arms on the surface and my head on my hands. I stared at him with big eyes, waiting for this amazing food. He chuckled again as he quickly glanced at me and back at the food. "Oooookay. Done." he put the plate of bacon and eggs in front of me, seeing my eyes sparkle as I take the first bite. "It's so good." I mumbled while chewing the bacon. It really was good. I'm impressed. A vampire that can cook. Well, only bacon and eggs, but it's something. He starts cleaning the dishes before opening the fridge, revealing all the blood bags that he has stored. He takes one and mumbles. "Hmm?" "I was looking for type O. Found it." he chuckled once more while wiggling the blood bag from side to side. I nodded and start eating slowly as he rips the bag open and starts drinking vigorously. I got disgusted, but I couldn't stop eating. He noticed the expression on my face and started sipping on the bag. The blood already started dripping from the side of his lip. I scoffed then started giggling. Honestly, he actually is cute, though I still couldn't trust him completely. He stopped drinking and threw the bag away quickly. Trying not to disgust me even more. "You look..." "I look what?" I started checking myself to see if anything was wrong with me. Pulling at my cheeks and nose, tapping my hands over my body. "You look cute in my shirt." he quickly stated then giggled. "Oh..." my cheeks burned red instantly. I looked down trying to hide my flustered cheeks behind my hair. Seriously? Why do these vampires make me blush everytime? I didn't like feeling this way at all. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be so forward. By the way. How did you end up in my club?" he asked confusingly as he crossed his arms over his chest. I was afraid to tell him, but he had to know the truth. I started venting. Telling him everything that has happened and how pissed I was. He just nodded at every word and hand gesture I made. "William only used me as a pet." I continued and he stopped me from talking. "William? As in William Patrova?" he asked, jaw flexing and leaning closer to me. His hands placed on the surface of the counter. I could tell he was thinking hard and I could feel his aura becoming dark. It scared me, but I didn't flinch. "Yes? You know him?" he looked p****d. He balled his hands into fists, tendons standing out, while looking down then back up at me. "That guy is a monster."
