The Devil Beside Her

Chapter 02

When Kaily entered the lounge the decorations were lit as f*ck and everybody started clapping and screaming congratulations! nobody in the room could be compared to the beautiful star, as she was wearing navy blue crisscross open back sequin cami dress which fitted well to her petite body, her skin was pale and flawless at the same time. Her feet were beautifully comfortable in Faux fur ankle stiletto sandals, that day she had let her silky black long hair down to show nicely her cabochon necklace sapphire white gold Glamira pendant that Mike had bought for her as a birthday gift on her thin neck. She wore her late mother's vintage watch on her wrist that was covered by sapphire stones.

Cindy approached her and they hugged, "honey you look beautiful." ,Cindy whispered in her ears, they smiled at each other and Cindy showed her to the podium where she will be making her speech. 

Mike and Chanice also entered, Mike was wearing a slim fit suit that was also navy blue complementing his lover's outfit with an open white shirt, as for Chanice she was wearing her dusky pink short sweetheart full beads pearls mini cocktail dress, her legs were slipped in fiat lace up square sculptured heel in black faux leather while holding a small black purse. Her hair was in a bun and her neck covered with a sexy silver necklace that matches her earings.

As soon as Kaily got to the front she met her best friend Vihaan Patel who hugged her very tight while whispering, "I am so proud of you"  they then both exchanged smiles. When it was time Kaily climbed the podium and started talking, she started off with thanking everyone for their presence and support and continued with her speech.

When everything was said and done Kaily tried to look for Mike in the crowd but he was nowhere to be found and then she bumped into Chanice who was dancing with Vihaan, "who are looking for?", Chanice asked as she was moving her body to the beat of the song. "have you guys seen Mike, I can't find him anywhere and I'm tired", for a moment Chanice stopped dancing and grabbed Kaily's hand leading her to next available table while Vihaan followed them willingly, "sit here with Vihaan and I"ll go find Mike for you" she left and disappeared into the crowd. "Are you that smitten with my sister that you follow her everywhere she goes?", Kaily asked while balancing her head with her left arm starring at Vihaan, he smirked and then nodded his head without hesitation, they both smiled at each other without saying anything and then Vihaan picked up his glass of whine gulping all every liquid inside. While searching Chanice realised she wanted to use the bathroom she left the party room and into the passage that leads to the bathroom, The loud music started fading as she drew closer to the bathroom, while walking she heard Mike's voice, she tried calling out for him, "Miiii" , before she could even finish saying his name out loud she then stopped by a room next to the bayhroom that was slightly opened and peeped through to look clearly for who was in the room, she saw two figures, she could easily identify and they exchanged a very small package, when she realised that she could also identify their voices she started listening to the conversation between them carefully, as she was listening to their private conversation her phone buzzed loudly by the passage which made the two parties in the room face the door quickly. One of the figures approached the door quite slowly and opened the door smoothly to check who was out there and there was no one.

*Back in the Party-room*

"You not dancing anymore?" ,Mike looked at his princess and kissed her beautiful glowing cheek. 

"Well I've been looking for you, where have you been?" "Wait Chanice went to look for you did you see her anywhere?"

"No babe I didn't, I went to grab you this lovely galss of wine that you love so much" Mike sighed as he handed the glass to his lover and then proceeded to lay his head on her right shoulder.

Kaily's fans kept on coming to her table to ask to take selfies with her.

Vihaan stood up and said "I'll go Fi.. oh ., well there she is" , and he sat right back down.

Chanice sat down on the other side of Kaily and tried to whisper something to her before she could utter another word Mike raised his head and asked her where she has been and why is she whispering like a criminal when she gets to the table. 

"I was just asking if she's got any pad in her purse I just started my period, or do you have a pad Mike? maybe you wanted me to ask you." Chanice put on a funny face while saying this.

Kaily looked at her sister with shock, "Oh My God! how could even say something like that to my man, that's disgusting even for you Chanice" Mike deliberately did this to piss off Chanice knowing exactly how she would react and how his lover would stand up for him no matter what, Chanice was already used to it but tonight she was not having it she was determined to have a conversation with her sister

"Well I was tryna talk to you privately that is why I was whispering, besides there is something I have to tell you quickly come with me" ,Chanice tried to pull Kaily away so that they could talk privately.

"Oh please sister let me be and if you not apologizing to Mike right now we shall not have this talk" Kaily replied with an attitude ,Mike smirked as he hears his GIRL stands up for him like that.

"I'll take Chanice home, I think she is sort of drunk so we will see you guys tomorrow" ,Vihaan stood up and grabbed Chanice's hand and purse, "Come on lets go" he pulled her angrily

Before agreeing to be pulled like a sack of potatoes she stopped for a while and looked back to exchange some words with her sister, " Fine I'll leave but when you done girlfriending to this guy call your 'only ' sister' , as I said earlier on its very important you hear this"  she was immediately pulled away again both disappearing into the crowed.

"bye Felicia!" Mike smiled as he waved goodbye to them trying to lean back again on his lovers shoulder. Kaily pulled away, looked at him with a cold look, "Don't be rude she is still my sister" Mike pulled her closer to him, looked at her deep in her eyes like starring in her soul and they both exchanged gazes at that moment he apologized, Kaily blinked twice at Mike and they both giggled and started kissing passionately like they were alone in the room...

Cindy tapped the table where they were sitting and told them to behave themselves because everyone is watching and taking pictures. They slowly stopped and Kaily smiled while she thought to herself why is it that every time she appears she just wants them to stop their sweet moments but it didn't matter to her because she knew Cindy cares and knows best of how the paparazzi could twist something sweet and make it into something dark just for views and readers. she continued to tell them that it's late and they should leave, she will wrap everything up and that the cars are already waiting for them outside. 

They left and as soon as they got in the limo they continued with their sick kissing in the backseat, "wait let me pour us some champagne baaaby" Mike pulled away from Kaily as she laid her head back breathing heavily, he reached for the glasses and the champagne. After a few seconds Mike came back with two glasses of champagne and they sipped on some champagne. While drinking starring at each other like wild animals waiting to devour each other at the perfect time Mike pulled his lover towards him making her whole body to turn and face the other way, she laid her head on his chest and with her unoccupied hand it reached for his neck and smoothly started caressing it, immediately Mike spread her legs slowly making her aware of what was to come and he ran his hand slowly moving her dress up and then slipped his hand between Kaily's thighs, he used his middle finger to rub her c*nt outside of her panties, Kaily's eyes rolled while she moved her hips towards her man's body. Mike raised her head again kissing her gently and slowly

The limo stopped, and he pulled out his hand, they got out, he picked and threw his petite drunk girlfriend over his shoulder and went up the house. 

"Why are you so mad at your sister you know she always protects what she loves and in this contrast I mean both of you" ,Vihaan opened the door for Chanice, they both went inside the house. They have been quiet the whole way to chanice's house, "Are you done talking Vihaan? I'm going to bed" she took off her heels and carried them upstairs, Vihaan followed her upstairs.

It's 5am and Chanice goes downstairs to drink some water, she opened the fridge and reached for the water bottle, as she closed the fridge a feeling came to her that she was no longer alone in the kitchen. She opened the fridge again to put the water back, before she closed the door fridge she quickly turned around trying to confirm her suspicions and before she could utter any world a chef knife slit her throat and she fell down gargling and choking on her own blood she sat down slowly feeling seeing her life flash before her eyes she then tried to grab on the left leg of her slitter. As she looked up her eyes widened because they met the figure that just ended her life. She tried saying a word but couldn't because she was choking in her own blood and then she died.
