After everything that happened, I couldn't think of anything while I was fighting. I just thought of a way to protect Hailey. I was just thinking of a way to keep her safe. I heard her scream, I also heard her voice say my name every time I was attacked.
If only there was something that bothered my heart, it was only when Hailey was really scared to see my wolf form. I could see her frightened look for a second, though she ended up looking at me with concern.
