Episode 13-shadows return

The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a golden glow across the penthouse. For the first time in weeks, Isabella felt at peace. Adrian sat beside her, his arm draped protectively around her shoulder.

"I could get used to this," he said, his voice soft as he kissed the top of her head.

"Me too," she replied, smiling. But deep down, a tiny spark of unease lingered.

Their moment of serenity was shattered by the sudden chime of Isabella's phone. She frowned at the screen—a message from an unknown number:

"Enjoy your peace while it lasts. The game isn't over."

Her stomach dropped. Adrian noticed immediately. "Who is it?" he asked, his protective instincts flaring.

Isabella shook her head. "I don't know... but it doesn't feel good. Someone is watching."

Before they could react further, the penthouse intercom buzzed. "Delivery for Ms. Isabella," a voice said.

Adrian's eyes narrowed as Isabella accepted the package. Inside, she found a sleek black envelope. She opened it carefully—and her heart froze.

Inside was a photograph of her and Adrian, taken without their knowledge, accompanied by a note:

"You can't hide from the world. Secrets, lies, and desire... they all have consequences. Tick-tock, Isabella."

Adrian's hands clenched around hers. "Whoever this is... they're dangerous. And they're playing a game with you."

Isabella's mind raced. Damian was gone, Lena had retreated—but clearly, the danger wasn't over. "We've faced worse," she said, her voice trembling but resolute. "We can face this too. Together."

Adrian pulled her into a firm embrace. "Always. No one threatens you while I'm here. We'll uncover who's behind this, and we'll stop them."

As the city lights glimmered outside, Isabella felt a mix of fear and exhilaration. The past may have been conquered, but the present—and the shadowy forces lurking unseen—promised that the story was far from over.

And in the distance, a figure watched from the shadows, smiling as the game continued.
