"Who is the family of Heaven and Nicholas Venezia?" came the doctor's voice who just stepped out of the operation theater and removed his mask. I was on my feet instantly, and so was Rick, as we reached the doctor and I spoke.
"I am Giovanni Venezia, Heaven's husband, and Nicholas's father." I answered, "How is my family doing?"
"There is a piece of good and bad news. The good news is that the surgery was a success, and we were able to save and stabilize them both, but unfortunately, we weren't able to save the baby. We tried our best to save the baby, but we couldn't, and as for your son, he survived, but is still in a critical condition. He took the worst impact, and can't tell anything more until he wakes up."
