Signs Of Change

" Kylie, your going to be late for your first day. You better get down here young lady!" Yells Kylie Robertson's older brother Aaron Robertson. Soon to be Alpha of the Cascade Pack. " Yeah, yeah I'm coming." Kylie mumbled back. My name is Kylie Robertson. I am the daughter of Alpha Joshua Robertson. Alpha of the Cascade Pack. Not only does he run the Cascade Pack, he also runs "EVERY" pack in North America. Basically like a president in the human world. Which means I have to make a good impression to the people by being on time. So because of that I cannot be late on my first day of school, even if it's my senior year. I make it down the stairs in record time. " You look great sis. Now let's go." We make it to his sleek black Lamborghini and get in. We pull in to our school parking lot and park. The name of our school is Mountainview High. Thankfully this is my last year of school. No one knows at home, but I absolutely hate it here. I have been getting bullied for years. The other pack members all bully me for not shifting on my 16th birthday. Every since then I have been treated as if I have a disease that will kill them if they are in the same room with me. Others, well they beat me when they catch me alone in the hallways. I have tried to find other routes to take to classes so I can avoid any problems with them. But they seem to always know where I will be and they would be waiting for me every time. I think I can avoid it today since it Aaron's birthday and he will be swamped all day by the other she-wolves. I walk into the school and head towards my locker to grab my books for class. Boy was I dead wrong to ever think I would get a break today. " The wolf-less freak, walks in. Why don't you just disappear like your mother did." My blood began to boil and I could feel my nails growing. But no fur was growing. This was not a good sign for her. Kylie started to take in slow deep breaths to calm herself down. She will have to ask her father about this. Nineteen years ago her father had found her in the hollow of an old oak tree on his territory near the train station. Wrapped in a bloody blanket. That was all they had told her about that night. " Look Tessa, I promised my brother I would not get into any fights today. It's his birthday as you know." Kylie looked Tessa in the eyes as she said this, looking for a change of mind through her eyes. Not seeing a change in this she-wolf, she knew this beating would be bad. Wishing in her mind, that she could be at home still in bed. She was waiting for the impact of the slap. When nothing happened she opened her eyes. And once they were open Kylie let out the loudest scream she had ever screamed. Kylie was in her room, sitting on her bed, with her school books in her hands.
