"What the hell was that?" Adriana asked Kylie. "I don't honestly know Addie. But whatever it was, really made me want to taste more of it." Adriana looks at Kylie with a confused look and sighs. "Okay. But promise me Kylie, that if this starts to get to much you will tell me. We can get through this thing, whatever this thing is, we can get through it together like we always do."
" I promise Addie. And I will definitely let you know if things start to get to much. But right now we need to hurry up and finish getting ready." With that said, they both finish getting ready in record time. Kylie is wearing a black and red pinstripe knee length dress, paired with pair of black gladiator sandals. Leaving her face clear of makeup, as she feels it makes her fake if she's not natural. Her deep red hair falling past her hips. Kylie is already naturally tall, standing at 5'8 the gladiator sandals really make her mile long legs stand out. Adriana is wearing skin tight, red mini dress. Paired with thin strapped black stilettos, and her makeup a earth tone eyeshadow, with bright red lipstick. Wearing her platinum blonde hair in a high ponytail. There is no way these two will go unnoticed tonight.
They hear a low whistle.
" Damn girls you look smokin." Says Tyler, Aaron's best friend and soon to be beta. " You creep. How long have you been standing there?"
"Not long. I was sent up to come fetch you sexy ladies and escort you down to the party. You know you ladies can't resist the chance to get with this."
" In your dreams Casanova. Let's go Kylie, before this nerd gets us in trouble."
Laughing as they descend the grand staircase, of our four story mansion. We call it a pack house, because almost all the pack members live here, almost all. A good portion of our pack live in their own homes on the pack territory, near our town. There are some humans who live on our territory, who were sworn to secrecy. The few humans that do live here are either housekeepers or doctors. We won't allow for them to be teacher's just so that way they don't get hurt by the younger wolves. The ones who are doctors are under supervision by the omega's.
Kylie and Adriana make it to the bottom of the staircase with Tyler. The party is held outdoors, to better accommodate the pack and it's members. We hold all of our pack celebrations outside, like Aaron's birthday celebration. Tonight he will also officially be named the new Alpha, since he is twenty-one now. He can now take over as Alpha even though he still hasn't found his mate, my mom Luna Isabell, she is from a big pack in Germany that's near the Berlin wall. As I was saying. My mom will remain as acting Luna until Aaron finds his mate. Hopefully soon, because he has been a real prick lately towards me and so has my dad, except for the incident a little while ago when I basically teleport into my bedroom with just a thought.
We make it to the drink table when the b***h-clique storms over with Marisa and Tessa in the lead.
" So you think you can just self-invite to my mates party? Well guess what you'r dead wrong." Marisa raises her hand to slap Kylie, her slap doesn't make contact. Adriana grabs Marisa by the wrist and pushes her back hard, making her land on the ground. Alpha Joshua and Luna Isabell come around the side of the house the moment this happens. Kylie gets her hopes up hoping her mom and dad can finally see the wrong being done to her, only to get her hopes shattered.
" Adriana Jones, you and Kylie will spend 3 nights in the dungeons for this behavior. Causing trouble within the pack is grounds for exile from the pack. However, I am being generous with you two. Tyler will escort you there."
"Are you f*****g serious? Marisa and her goons should be the ones that are being sent there. Not us."
" Am I serious? I would say I am very serious about this. You didn't honestly think I would take the side of a tainted mutt do you? I knew everything that went on. Everything. " Alpha Joshua looked at Kylie at that moment with so much hate and disgust.
" Your supposed to be my father. why would you do this to me. " At that exact moment Alpha Joshua kicked Kylie so hard in the chest, making her heart stop.
What happens next no one expects. Kylie doesn't move at all. The life in her eyes has left her. Kylie had slammed so hard into the great oak tree behind her when the alpha had basically crushed her bones in that fierce kick. Being an alpha gives you demigod like strength but not their speed or immortality and most importantly they don't have the ability to sense pure-blood vampire's who are in direct relation to Goddess Selene's first born twin son Vega which also happens to be the King of all supernatural creatures of the night. King Vega has been searching for his beloved mate for eons, every one has lost count of the years, including the King himself. And now he is standing right behind the alpha.
" I take it I s*******r your Luna right in front of your face. And show you no mercy, like you have done to My Mate." Growls the King, his eyes midnight black with what looks like pieces of the galaxy star belts in them. You get lost in them even when your a man, they pull you into them and you can't get out of the pull. Beautiful but yet a dangerous gaze. They would freeze you on the spot if hell was your destination, and if he wanted you there. He has dark hair and stands 6'2 a dominant aura around him making you bow on your knees with instant action.
" My blood is your blood, my love." He slices his wrist and drops a few drops onto Kylie's lips, it slips past her lips onto her tongue. Kylie immediately latches onto his wrist and drinks. Her fangs elongated at the first drops of his blood. Tasting all of which flows into her mouth it tastes like chocolate and cinnamon. She pulls away, and looks up. Her eyes now a deep gold color with starburst of red flecks in them, giving her a seductress look. Making her very desirable to Vega, but he would wait until she was 18 as she wasn't supposed to meet him yet. When her heart stopped beating her pure-blood vampire goddess had awakened and called to his soul.
