And The Clock Struck Twelve.

Ring. The school bell sounded, alerting the students they had five minutes until their next class. Kylie is at her locker waiting for Adriana, spotting her among the crowded hallway she waves her over. Kylie doesn't un-notice the horrified look on Adriana's face.

" Kylie how are you alive? " Adriana asked Kylie.

Kylie looks at her and motions for her to be quiet. Adriana was taken to the dungeons, before she could witness anything after her heart stopping. She cried herself to sleep, believing she had lost her best friend.

" Addie I will tell you everything, if you tell me what you know about all this." Kylie pulls the collar of her top over so Adriana could see the new Celtic symbols at her breastbone.

" I don't know anything about that. But I know a place where we can go after school to get more information. "

" Listen Addie, I want you to come with me. I want you to leave that pack and come with me to Boston."

" Kylie, I Know you went through hell your entire life there. Can you give me some time to think about it? I will let you know by tonight."

Kylie nods her head and looks at Adriana telling her.

" Meet me under the old oak tree at midnight then."

Adriana agrees to meet Kylie there and gives her a hug, turning to go to her next class.

Kylie skips school for the day, and heads over to this little hole in the wall café. They have amazing coffee there, but that's not what Kylie is after. No she is after is a sip on something warm and thick. Her blood thirst is calling and its strong. After all the only blood she had was King Vega's and he's not here right now nor can she drink from him again yet.

She gets to the Cafe called Cafe da Vinci.

" Hello, welcome to Cafe da Vinci. How may I be of assistance to you? " A peppy blonde girl behind the counter asks.

" Yes, I would like a private booth, away from the windows. "

" Sure, right this way."

The server brings Kylie to a dark room, thats located at the back of the building. The room itself looks like it was made for Bill Gates, lavish and beautiful.

" Here you are. Now what—

Kylie grabs the young woman by her shoulders and pulls her in close, before plunging her sharp fangs into the girls throat. Drinking her fill from her. Kylie doesn't know the first thing about drinking from a fresh kill, so she doesn't know she has to kick the puncture wounds in order for them to close on their own. She leaves the girl on the booth seat and walks out.

Adriana POV

I can't believe she's alive. I watched the alpha kick her into that tree. After Tyler had taken me to the dungeons, I had just layed there crying my eyes out. Tyler had to calm me down enough to eat. But seeing her just now, I'm not sure what to think. I mean I wouldn't have ever thought to be best friends with Goddess Nyx. I mean Kylie believes she is just a Vampire. Seeing those symbols on her she is most definitely Goddess Nyx. The mother of all vampire's. She is THE VAMPIRESS. But how is it she only remember certain things from the other night, and I remember all of it up until I was taken away. I don't know what to do, she's asking me to leave this pack and my family. Should I?

" Duh. You moron of a human." Said my wolf Gabby.

" Alright, we will go with her. Why was she so weak all these years, if she's really Nyx?"

" I can't tell you that, you would have to ask her mate that."

" What are we going to do for her then? She's going to be really powerful, and technically doesn't need us anymore."

" Trust her. She's your best friend and you have always been her protector, now she wants to protect you."

" Your right Gabby, I love you."

" I love you too, my little hummie."

Third Person POV

I knew I would find her here, her powers will be here real soon. I can feel it in the air. I must have it. She must become mine. And I will make sure I of it.

King Vega POV

I felt it. Her hunger and her rage. I knew I should have taken her back to the castle with me, against my mother's advisory.

I felt when Kylie had drank for her first time tonight, her first on human blood. I can only hope she didn't have any witnesses as humans cannot know of us per se unless, they are willing to be our blood bank. I need Kylie, my beloved. The night before her birthday and I'm already going insane without being able to touch her.

Watching her talk with her friend though made me realize she needs her too. And if she asked me I would be compelled to give her what she desires. I will give to her a personal guard being her friend. If needed, I highly doubt we will need her as such. Like I said I would be compelled. She already has me hooked and we haven't even kissed yet.

Kylie POV

Well I hope Adriana will meet me under the oak tree like we agreed to. I know that she's in the dungeons for two more nights but...I'm going to get her out tonight, when she least expects it.

I am going to teleport into her cell, like I did when I almost got into a fight the other day with Tessa. My plan is to teleport her outside by the old tree service building, I don't know if it will work with more than just myself, but I have to try, Otherwise I'll just fight my way out with her in tow. I am happy we can make it out of this pack, without anyone giving us issues.

Kylie is done with this pack, and is willing to go to any measure to get away from it. She quickly walks to the nearest thrift shop, to by herself a few necessities she will need while her and Adriana are traveling to Boston. She buys a duffel bag, some fresh clothes and some toiletries. She also bought herself some old antique wine bottles, so that she could attempt to fill them with blood and not be leaving a trail. And she doesn't want to scare Adriana by making kills around her.

Kylie heads to a used car dealership and looks around deciding on a 2006 black on black Ford Expedition with blacked out windows. She could teleport there but without actually knowing where they are going to be staying when they get there, and she's never been there, she decided she is most definitely driving. Kylie teleports back to her room at the pack- house she grabs all her important things like, her I.D. and her money stash that she saved up from doing odd jobs that no one else would do. She then grabbed her tablet and laptop because she is not going to pass down Harvard, she will complete her fashion design degree online. She finishes up her packing and goes to her in room bathroom and takes a quick shower washing off the blood from her meal. Kylie turns off the shower and steps out and drys off her body. She gets dressed in a outfit she bought today. Putting on a black satin lingerie set matching her black silk dress that has a slit on both sides of the skirt. She pulled on a pair black fishnet thigh high stockings, and wore a pair of spiked heel knee high boots. Kylie felt ready to take on the world.

Going to Adriana's room as quickly and quietly as she can, Kylie does the same thing in Adriana's room, only grabbing the important things. When she is done there, she teleports back to the dealership and purchases the Expedition. She is on a backroad that leads to the old tree service building that has been abandoned for twenty years now. Kylie see's the tree line and the shape of the building just a few feet in towards the woods. She parks the vehicle behind the building leaving hers and Adriana's things inside, she has to go back to the café area. She teleports to the alley behind the café and is walking to the front entrance when she spots a group of thugs crossing the parking lot where it meets the alley. She quietly stalks them, like a tigress stalking her prey. Once they are in a dark corner of the alley, Kylie pounces on them. Stalking towards them like a seductress, she puts them into a paralyzed state by trancing them with her eyes. Kylie gets her bottles filled to the brim, and then takes her own fill as it was nearly mid afternoon now. Her powers are coming quickly, so far she has the ability to transport by closing her eyes and thinking about where she wants to be. She's a little scared to try to transport with her eyes open right now. Kylie also has the ability to put people into a trance and a paralytic state, just by them staring into her eyes as she is speaking to them. She calls this her siren ability. She can compell others into doing what she wants them to. Kylie can dream-walk and do some serious damage to the person's mind, make the go crazy. Kylie also has the power of the oracle, others call it the see'er ability.

As she is thinking about her special developments, she smells something sweet. Too sweet. Thats when she realizes Alpha Joshua and Luna Isabell are in the café. She teleports back to the pack territory and into the cell Adriana is in. Kylie changed the plans a few hours ago when she decided she was going to do a snatch and go with Adriana. Even if Adriana decided she wanted to stay with the pack...She's still going with her to Boston.

Kylie looks at her watch, 10:45 P.M. its time to do this now. She closes her eyes and then she is in the cell with Adriana. She quietly steps over to her and puts a hand over her mouth, startling Adriana awake. Kylie motions for her to be quiet. Grabbing Adriana by the hand she teleports the both of them to the oak tree.

" Oh. My. God. Kylie, I thought you were messing around. You scared the f**k out of me. What are you crazy?! you could get us both killed for that. I thought you were messing around about leaving the pack. Clearly your not though."

" Shhh! Your going to wake the whole pack up." Kylie whisper yells back.

" I was being very serious. This is your chance to come with me, and live life the way you want. Are you coming or not?"

" How could I ever turn you down? You silly woman, your my best friend and much much more than you know. But we can talk about that later. What are we leaving in?"

" I have my ways, trust me we are leaving." Kylie grabs Adriana's hand and is getting ready to transport them, when a hand grabs Adriana and pulls her back away from Kylie's hold.

Kylie's eyes flew open the minute she felt the energy shift around her friend, indicating another presence.

" You think you can walk off this land unscathed. Your wrong." Aaron spits at them is a viciously.

At that moment Kylie let's her dagger like claws come out.

" I would let her go if I were you. That is if you want your precious life." Kylie hissed through her elongated fangs. Her eyes glowing a bright gold, the starburst flakes of red shinning a bright fire. The moon is dull and at its highest. The clock in the pack-house struck midnight.

Kylie is levitating off the ground, her head dropped back and her lips formed into a sinister smirk. Her hair has changed color from a blood-red to a midnight black with highlights of crimson fire. Her lips are now an even darker shade of red, the darkest you would ever see making them look like fresh blood. Kylie let's out a blood curdling screech, as she has now transformed into her true Vampire Goddess Nyx. She has just turned 18.
