Lessons Learned
“What do you think about this?” I showed Missy my response.
“I guess I forgot to tell you that Bella is an adult, female, Bengal tiger and weighs just over three hundred pounds. She loves to have a dog for lunch.”
“That is hilarious, Chelsea. He will know we haven’t left him for good,” she said.
“Let’s send it to him. I can’t wait to see his response.” This time I laughed.
“No rush. I am enjoying the sun.”
“I am too.”
We lay back on our chaise lounges and really relaxed for the first time in a while. It felt good. It dawned on me that we had made our point with Mr. Financial Consultant. The battle of the sexes rages on. When the sun began to go down, we went back home and sent our reply to him. What witticism would he come up with next?
