CHAPTER 9 THE GAMES HAVE BEGUN

CLAY'S POV

Mum Invited Grandpa and Izzy to sit down they did "Lets just put our cards on the table" Grandpa said right away "Call the twins in" he said, Mum went and called them in we all sat around waiting for Grandpa to start once the twins arrived. "We are family so we have to be honest, we as family never play games or manipulate each other, we are to be honest and up front even if it hurts, So Ara you first"

"Yes uncle, Izzy first off we told you nothing about your heritage in a bid to protect you, Your father is a Don his name is Maximus and runs the Chicago Mafia, we were not matched but he took me any way trying to make me his Mistress  he was already married, 

Poppa was high ranked and feared amongst all Familia so Maximus had to give me back and both my potential matches didn't want me anymore. Don Giovani let your Poppa take me and leave paying one of his many debts to your Poppa. When your Nona died we left. 3 months later I found out I was pregnant with you so I ran away from Poppa,

I was scared Izzy that Maximus might find out so I shacked up with a doctor making him believe he was your dad and the rest is history, until your Poppa for the first time demanded we move home to him obviously he had been supporting us the whole time. So that's why we moved back 6 months before your 16th birthday. your Poppa and I kept you hidden not wanting you in this world but alas here we are".

"Sweet I'm a gangsters daughter I can live with that" Izzy said as she threw herself on her Ma, And Izzy was back to being Izzy I chuckled quietly.

"What happens now Pops" Izzy asked. "There is more to tell Izzy, Tyson you're up" Grandpa directed. "Okay Iz what happened last night is water under the bridge you bested me and I now owe you a life debt with that out of the way. We were going to break Clays Match with Stella and match the 2 of you to keep you in the family and protected, Clay pointed out Stella was not going down without a fight then, Seb showed interest in you so we forgot that idea and well here we are"

"I dodged a bullet then" Izzy said coldly she still hated me dam it.

 "My Turn Izzy in order for you not to be matched we have to tag you as a Familia assassin women in this field are rear and believe it or not but you are legacy your Nona started as an assassin your Poppa was her handler and trainer they fell in love he called in one of the many debts owed and bam they were married"

"My Nona was a bad a s s nice" Izzy replied

"Your Poppa died with numerous debts owed to him so now you and your mother have the power to call them in, unfortunately for you we can not use them to stop the match making but we can use them to give you assassin status. You have already bested Tyson who would be your trainer, Tyson is high ranked so you already proved yourself ready. I am still the handler for all new assassins and I also have to prepare the next generation of Familia leaders." 

"With all this out in the open Izzy how do you feel?" My mum asked. "I am ready to rumble but can we first address the fact that Grace and Seb love each other and why are they not matched" Izzy blurted out. I watched Graces eyes go wide, "can I use one of the debt things to get them matched" Izzy asked. "Izzy how did you know?" Grace asked. "Girl you two also always got those googly eyes on for each other, I am not blind" she replied 

This girl truly was something else and to add to her list of attributes I had to add selflessness. I watched Grandpa make a call he spoke for a while then handed the phone to Izzy "Hello sir, yup that's right, meet with you no problem I'd love to, Okay bye" Izzy handed the phone back to Grandpa smiled bid whoever it was on the phone goodbye and sat down. Izzy was smiling form ear to ear "Pops tell them" she said excited. " Grace my darling you and Seb are now matched, Alistair was happy to hand you to his brother and Izzy and I will meet with Mr Giovani later tonight to discuss the rest of the debts owing" Grandpa announced 

The three girls My mum and aunty Ara jumped up and down Grace hugged the life out of Izzy "I now owe you a debt " Grace said squealing "b***h you don't owe s**t like pops said we family girl" Izzy replied. Izzy looked at Saffia "Saf how about you are you ok with Cyrus?" Izzy asked "I am good Izzy" Saf replied shyly. "Ok pops now all that s**t is out of the way what do we do next" Izzy asked "we wait now".

It was awesome to have everything out in the open but now I needed to fix things with Izzy if she would let me. "Izzy can I have a private word please" I asked sheepishly She stared at me "Lead the way Romeo" she ordered. I took her out by the pool "Izzy I'm sorry I was so scared you would get yourself killed and I wasn't allowed to tell you a thing, I needed someone to blame so I blamed you, Can you forgive me?" I asked. "Look Romeo I get it you are loyal, and you don't really know me so yeah I forgive you but from this minute on Romeo we are family which means your loyalty is with me not your friend, You got it " she said.

"I got it Iz" I pulled her in for a hug and as she pulled back I got caught up by her striking blue eyes I swear my junk twitched, s**t s**t s**t this is not good. I thought. 

IZZY'S POV

Pops and I left Tysons and went home, Pops had business to attend so I just hung out. Pat walked in smiling at me. "Miss Izzy can I get you anything" she asked sweetly. "A Piano is there one in this house" "Yes, please follow me " she said, I walked into a huge ball room type space and there on a little stage was a beautiful grand piano. I thanked Pat, then wasted no time sitting down and playing, I was feeling like I needed to let s**t out so I began to play Carrie Underwood's Before He Cheats as I hit the chorus I gave it all I had  

" I dug my keys into the side of his pretty little  souped-up  four -wheeled drive "

" I carved my name into his leather seats"

"I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights"

"Slashed a hole in four tires"

"Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats"

Mass walked in just before I ended the song " You are talented I'll give you that" he said in a cold tone. "Oh still my beating heart" I couldn't help but laugh "Izzy I want you gone as in go back to where you came from you are trouble I'm telling you now to give you a chance to disappear, you are not good for my Familia if you stay I'll make your life hell, I'm not even going to hide my plan from you because you can't stop me, I will share you with my brother you will become our Mistress if you stay, I will control your every move". "Nice plan Mass way to use your power, you know I'm not going to fight you but could you let me graduate, I want to leave, I know you know who I am but unlike you I am not power driven" 

"You can graduate then you are gone" "No problem home boy" I said winking at him as he walked away.  I looked up waved at the camera I spotted in the room when I first walked in then I spoke to it "Pops I hope you heard all that s**t, Make the camera lights blink if I should just slit his throat, Come on Pops Blink the camera" I said as I laughed.

It was time for me to go and get dressed for dinner with the Don. I walked up the stairs and ran into Pops "So Pops what do I wear and tell me you heard that s**t" "I just had Pat put a dress in your room and yes I heard it all" he replied "Oh and Izzy it's floor length so you can wear what ever shoes you like, the dress will hide them" "You are the Bomb Pops thank you". Pat was still in my room waiting to help me dress I did my bathroom thing, put on panties but had to go without a bra because the dress was a Black backless Halter with a very revealing front as well as low back, I hadn't ever shown this much skin in my life. I decided to wear my hair out and over my left shoulder to hide some of my well endowed breasts.

Pat lightly curled my long hair she also done my make up making my already striking blue eyes pop even more in a hope people would look at my eyes not my a s s. I looked in the mirror a bit shocked I looked Hotter than Hot. I decided to wear a 3 inch silver sandal, they were comfy. I walked down the stairs to find Pops, he and the Trio were waiting, of course they were going duh I thought. "Pops this dress like really" " You look beautiful Izzy" "Fine" The trio never said a word they just kept smirking and looking at me, Mass didn't smirk he looked like he wanted to stab me more. "Lets go then" Taylor and Alistair escorted me out placing there hands on my bare back standing on either side of me. Mass just starting swearing under his breath. Maybe he has turrets I thought.

We arrived at the Giovani residence and there were a s**t ton of cars and it was only now I realized all the dudes were in suits including the trio. We got out and walked through the entrance before I could take another step Mass grabbed my arm, I had to subdue a throat punch he leaned in and whispered " You look mouth watering so watch your back, oh and Izzy stay the F U C K out of the pool" Mass walked away, as he did I flipped him the bird "Izzy behave " Pops cautioned "Busted" I said with a giggle. I took Pops arm and we walked in confidently.

Pops guided me over to meet the Don "Izzy this is Mr Giovani and his lovely wife Penny, This is Izzy Rivera" Pops said proudly. "Oh my Goodness aren't you the most exquisite thing ever" Penny said pulling me into a hug " You're pretty Hot yourself Mam" I said with a huge smile " Thank you Izzy" Penny said with a giggle. " Izzy you are lovely and its nice to meet you my dear" Mr Giovani said "Right back at ya Sir including the lovely bit" Mr Giovani let out an almighty laugh accompanied by Pop and Penny everyone was now looking at us. I had to stop myself from waving. 

Other people were lining up to say hello to the Don and his wife so Pops and I went to walk away. But the Don stopped us and whispered something to Pops he looked at me and smiled " Izzy you are to stay here with Penny and help her greet people" Pops ordered "Don't go to far away Pops" I said a little freaked out. "I'll be right over there" He pointed literally to a spot 2 meters away. I stood next to Penny remembering my acting training. After what felt like a million hello's and a trillion 'Oh my dear you are stunning' I was over it as to was Penny. Penny looked at me gratefully "thank you so much Izzy, I really wanted to tell half of them to bugger off" Penny said making me giggle.

"Next time Mam you say hello and I'll say Goodbye we might confuse them enough they leave" Penny laughed "Oh Izzy we must try that" " Have you met my children" . "Yes I have" "I'm sorry Izzy" Penny said We looked at each other for a while then we laughed again. "I know they are rotten kids but their lives have not been easy" "No need to explain its great that they are rotten you get to mock them and not feel bad" Penny laughed so hard she snorted. Cyrus and Mass walked over "Mother are you ok?" they asked "Yes boys just a private Joke between friends" Penny said. I couldn't help myself Mass, Cyrus why don't you stand between us" They both gave me a duh! look and Penny lost it again she was now bent over and I was chuckling away. "Oh Izzy this is the start of a great friendship" Penny stated.
