CHAPTER 19 DATES

MASSIMO'S POV

I left the Valene compound and was home in 10 mins, I am frustrated with my parents for allowing Chloe to move in, We will be married soon enough but I guess they can't wait. I entered the house greeted by a sobbing Chloe "Chloe baby what's wrong" I asked as I took her into my arms,. "You are going to leave me for her" she said quietly whilst sobbing. I kissed her to comfort her and it felt wrong, I felt nothing but I had to convince her I felt something. Izzy came to mind but I pushed those thoughts away Familia First is what I live by and Chloe is what is best for the Familia.

"Babe I'm not leaving you, how can I convince you?" I asked as she cried into my chest. She looked up at me and quietly said "Don't have anything to do with her outside of business and family obligation, Mass promise me". My heart began to hurt at the thought of not having Izzy in my life at all, but for my Familia I decided to do it, I decided to cut Izzy out of my life, "I promise babe" saying these words sealed mine and Izzy's fate.

IZZY'S POV

It's been 2 weeks since we got back from Chicago and life has been busy, with Pops who has enlisted my help to train, my practice times every morning and school, I haven't had time for much of anything else. Massimo has been avoiding me which made me sad but I understand, I knew once I saw the news feed Chloe would put the clampers on, but what I didn't expect was when I smiled and waved hello at him was for him to give me a cold glare. I could only guess Asshole Mass was back and Hot desirable Mass was gone. I was disappointed and a little hurt but thought I would never let that Fucker know.

Thank God for My home boys A.K.A body guards, They are just like older brothers we have even planned our next Vacation together along with Jax and Storm, Trent and Bray are hella over protective, I swear they growl if a guy even looks at me, where as Emilio tends to spoil me, he even makes my lunch every day for school because he said the school's cafeteria serves s**t, he makes me laugh every day.

Tamara abandoned me and is staying with Leo's family so the whole teaching me the rules and responsibilities of being a Mafia daughter hasn't happened, but I am glad because honestly whose got time, Aunty Jazz and Penny have been on my case about it, Saffia and Grace have been keeping them at bay, I truly love those girls. My relationship with Clay is almost non existent and I know something there is not right but I have too much on my plate to worry about that.

Cyrus and Saffia have been dating and she has fallen head over heels for him, I love seeing her so happy, I couldn't help but think that the 2 weeks I was gone may have been the difference, No Izzy here to f**k things up for everybody I thought. "Izzy why you looking down babe" Emilio said as he came and sat next to me on the couch. " I just realized that while I was away everyone here seemed to be happier No Izzy to cause drama or f u c k things up, I guess I may have been wrong about this being my forever home" I explained as Emilio listened intently.

"Babe you are far from a hindrance, you walk into a room and people smile, you always put others first, look at Trent, Bray and I this is the first time in our lives we have had the feel of real family not just Familia, you have created a little bit of normal for us Iz, so don't ever doubt yourself, But with all that said the three of us have already asked to be your life time protection which means you give the orders we become your enforcers and the good news is Capo has agreed, he really is impressed with you Iz" . 

"So do you mean you three are answerable to me and not Max?" I asked shocked that they would do that for me. "Yup babe that's exactly what it means, the three of us will be still here when you have your own kids, where you live we live you are stuck with us for life" Emilio said with a huge smile. I couldn't help but throw my arms around him and hug the life out of him. Trent and Bray walked in smiling "So you told her Emilio" Trent asked "Yup" he responded with a smile. I jumped up and into Trent arms, he caught me laughing. Bray kissed my cheek with a smile as I latched on to him.

" OMFG you are the best home boys in the world I love you guys" I yelled with excitement. Once I calmed down we discussed the business here I would be running after Graduation, All three of these dudes held degrees which didn't shock me these dudes were all smart. I decided  that Brent and Trent would run my soon to be Tech company until I was ready and Emilio took me on full time, all three were blown away with my suggestion well actually it was my first order as their boss.

We all decided to watch a movie and eat Junk food. Pops had given me the weekend off and what better way to spend a Friday night. I made myself comfortable laying over all three of them on the couch. We were on movie number 2 and the door bell rang, I paused the movie and jumped up to answer it I let Liz and the other maids have weekends off, Trent pushed me behind him and he answered the door he was always in protect Izzy mode, the dude made me smile.

"How can I help" he asked,  One of Don Giovani's men stood at the door holding what looked like an invite. The man in black said nothing he just handed Trent the Invite and left. "Rude mother fucker" came out of my mouth as he walked away. Trent began to laugh hard "Iz babe it's fine he sees me as an underling because we are not his Familia his response is normal" Trent said while he continued to laugh " F u c k that manners cost f u c k all wait till I get that prick alone" I replied pissed off now all three were laughing.

"Iz you got to control your temper babe to them we are just body guards the help if you will it's just the way it goes babe" Bray said trying to explain a little more. "This is our compound and that fucker better learn to respect you dudes you are my Familia" I said still pissed. "Babes calm down any way what is the invite for" Emilio asked as Trent and I made our way back to the couch. I took it and opened it, it was an invite to Massimo's and Chloe's wedding in two weeks time, the invite was the Valene family invitation.

I didn't know how to feel but I hid my emotions from my homies, we carried on watching the movie and the whole time I was thinking about Mass's wedding. I rang Max and told him we had received the invite he seemed a little off but I ignored it. The boys decided to head off to bed so I followed suit I am sure I would dream about Mass getting married, something inside me stirred and I didn't like the feeling one bit I was in a little pain, what the f u c k was this new feeling, F u c k me I think my heart was breaking a little.

DON MAXIMUS POV

My little girl just phoned me informing me of Massimo's wedding invite, I was a little pissed off because for two weeks I watched that boy with my Bambina (baby) he was before my very eyes falling for her and she without knowing seemed to be reciprocating. I had spoken to Ara and both of us had hope that maybe he would choose Izzy as his Match, but then Ara remembered  that their Familia marriages were still arranged and this invite proved it. I just hope my Bambina was tough enough to get through this.

Ara explained that Izzy had never dated because Ara's father had kept Izzy busy with training, I was proud of my daughter knowing she had her virtue in tact, In our world because this was rare Izzy became more of a prize catch if that was possible. I could only pray that some one would come along worthy of her.

IZZY'S POV

I woke up feeling a little depressed  I pushed that feeling aside and I got up showered and decided to wear an off the shoulder flowy summer dress instead of shorts and a hoodie or T.shirt. I pulled my long a s s hair up into a bun, secured my knives into my thigh harness and headed down stairs. I could hear laughing from the kitchen, I walked in and was greeted by Seb, Grace and surprise surprise Clay, they were talking with Bray and Emilio, Trent was on duty. 

"Morning baby" Emilio said with a wink "Morning" I replied cheerfully hiding my real mood. "Iz we have come to take you out we have a surprise for you" Grace said a little to excited I knew they were up to something " Fine but let me get changed I need to halter my gun in case your surprise pisses me off" I said with a knowing smile. "What ever do you mean" Seb replied trying to sound Innocent " You look Hot in that dress Iz so don't change it" Grace said now looking a little nervous. "She looks hot in everything" Clay replied smirking. "OMG Romeo you speak" I said dramatically holding my heart with feigned shock.

"Smart A s s" he replied. I kissed Emilio and Bray goodbye, Trent was waiting outside for me, Where I went one the home boys came and today Trent was on Izzy duty. We left with the crew, we pulled up in front of a funky little diner. We all walked in Clay and I chatting catching up Trent walked behind me. Grace and Seb walked over to a table already occupied by a group 4 people 3 guys and a girl, they smiled at Grace and greeted both her and Clay with hugs. Grace introduced Seb as her boyfriend and me as the best friend she wasn't sure how to introduce Trent as he stood there looking Intimidating as f u c k. I said Hi but was still a little suspicious so was Trent, when sat he stayed standing turning his back on the group in security mode.

Me being Me broke the awkward silence "Ok Blacks I now know the names of these people but who the f u c k are they really and what the f u c k are you up too?" I asked with a sickly sweet smile. Cane, Ben, Van and Rain laughed "Clay f u c k  Cousin you weren't wrong she certainly doesn't waste time and most definitely speaks her mind" Cane said as he continued to laugh. "Cousins so that answers that now what are you up too?" I continued to ask.

"Iz just calm down ok, So Cane here needs a date to Mass's wedding and well we kind of told him you might be available" Grace said quietly Trent looked at Grace giving her a cold glare then turned back around without a word. " Seeing how we are being honest, Van and I are here to check you out we saw your pic in the news feed and had a bet between us, I thought your pic was photo shopped, I didn't think anybody could be that beautiful naturally and Van was sure you were, I guess Van won because dam girl you are a beauty" Ben said as he smiled at me.

I smiled at Ben and shook my head chuckling Trent was now angry I looked at his hands they were balled into fists and were turning white, I rubbed his hand discretely trying to calm him down I didn't need to see his face to know he was pissed. "Izzy please forgive my Twin brother, I got all the brains but one would hope at the age of 24 he would at least have some common sense and as for Van being the oldest at 25 I just lost hope years ago" Rain said giggling along with Grace. 

"I'm sorry they wasted your time Cane, I have a date already but it was nice meeting you" I said as I got up and left the group Trent had followed in our car so I hopped in and he and I went back to compound. As we were driving Trent looked at me "Iz who is your date and has Don Maximus okayed it, you don't have many rules but your father must ok any date and your friends should know this, that was pretty disrespectful of them Iz, you are more than a Mafia daughter you are a Princess and your dad our Capo is most definitely a King" Trent explained still pissed at my other Familia.

"Your turn to calm down, I've decided to take one you as my date and Max was fine when I asked him, one as my date, one as my driver and one as my body guard he was stoked that I would have extra security. So who ever is on duty that night will be body guard as per usual and Emilio likes to drive and whoever isn't on duty will be my date" I explained Trent smiled "Good" he responded.
