Eva was disappointed it wouldn’t be Sarah flying her dolphins and her team to Taiwan, but rather another US Marine pilot and his team. Sarah had been transferred to the US Naval Test Pilot School in Patuxent River, Maryland, apparently to fly some new-fangled top-secret fighter plane called the F/A-XX. And while Axel seemed rather proud of his girlfriend, Eva had a hard time being happy for her. In fact, she was quite worried about her friend flying experimental aircraft for the military. Putting a rebel like Sarah in an X-plane seemed like a recipe for disaster.
Eva also wasn’t happy when the admiral decided to allow Sol to accompany them to Taiwan. Apparently dependents could accompany their parents on military assignments that weren’t in war zones. It’s not a war zone yet,
