TWENTY-FIVE It shouldn’t have surprised Eva that the pilot on the cargo plane would be none other than her friend Captain Sarah Wolf, but it did. Axel must have already been alerted to the fact, as he only smiled knowingly when Sarah came to fetch them, but Eva squealed like a schoolgirl who hadn’t seen her best friend in ages. Sarah laughed and gestured to the plane. “What do you think? Better than my old F-35?” “Absolutely!” Eva said. “Because this one can hold my dolphins!” When everyone and everything was situated aboard, the plane took off.
