THIRTY-EIGHT Eva turned her head when she heard a strange singing in the water, followed by whistles and clicks. Swimming toward her were Taffy and Marie, and just behind them was an entire pod of wild white dolphins, each with a small hump on their back. Eva had never seen such strange-looking dolphins, but at the moment, she couldn’t imagine a more welcome sight. The wild pod banged the Tylosaurus in unison. Eva felt her ears ring and her lungs about to burst, but the banging was effective, and the tylosaur slowed. Then the wild dolphins grabbed its paddles and tail, ripping its flesh.
