THREE MONTHS LATER
It's been three months since the incident, I have gotten a new job, soarise and Dylan hd been if great help to me, I got a stable job at Villanueva Art studio as a styling assistant with the help of Dylan.
I was in the middle of a photoshoot, styling the models and making sure every detail was perfect. Note Noir's latest collection was debuting soon, and I wanted everything to be flawless. But as I was adjusting a model's sleeve, I suddenly felt a wave of dizziness wash over me.
At first, I thought it was just exhaustion – we'd been working non-stop for hours – but as the room started spinning, I knew something was wrong. I tried to take a step back, but my legs felt like jelly. The next thing I knew, I was falling and everything went blank
As I lay on the hospital bed, still feeling a bit dazed from the fainting spell, my cousin Soarise and best friend Dylan rushed in, worried sick about me. The doctor followed close behind, a kind smile on her face.
"Well, Savannah, it seems you're going to be a mom!" she announced, holding up the ultrasound image.
I was taken aback, my mind racing. "Three months pregnant?! How did I not know?!" I asked, still trying to process the news.
Soarise and Dylan started bombarding me with questions. "Who's the father?!" Dylan asked, her voice full of excitement.
I hesitated, feeling a flush rise to my cheeks. "Uh...I...I don't know," I admitted, my voice barely above a whisper.
Soarise's eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean you don't know?!"
I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of emotions. "Three months ago, I had a one-night stand with a stranger. I never got his name, and I never saw him again."
The room fell silent, and I could feel their eyes on me. I knew they were thinking it – how could I be so reckless?
The doctor broke the silence, her voice gentle. "Well, Savannah, we'll get you set up with an obstetrician and—"
But Soarise and Dylan were already planning my future, tossing around questions like "Will you still work at Note Noir?" and "What about your fashion shows?"
I held up my hands, laughing despite the chaos in my mind. "Guys, slow down! One step at a time, please
As I was discharged from the hospital, Dylan and Soarise helped me into the car, excitedly chattering about baby names and nursery decorations. I was still reeling from the news of my pregnancy, but I tried to focus on the positive.
Just as we were about to leave the hospital parking lot, my phone rang. I hesitated for a moment before answering, hoping it wasn't more bad news.
"Savannah, it's me, Ivette," the voice on the other end said, sounding worried. "Dad's in the hospital. He's been admitted to in Catalan coast hospital
My heart sank. "What's wrong with him?"
"He had a heart attack, Savannah. You need to come as soon as you can."
I felt a wave of panic wash over me. "I'm on my way. I'll be there as soon as I can."
Dylan and Soarise exchanged worried glances. "What's wrong?" Dylan asked.
"It's my dad. He's in a hospital in Girona . I need to go to him."
Soarise quickly pulled up the GPS on her phone. "We can make it in a few hours if we drive fast."
I nodded, feeling a sense of urgency. "Let's go."
We sped off towards Girona, the tension in the car palpable. I was worried about my dad and the unknown condition he was in.
After a few hours of driving, we finally arrived at Catalan coast Hospital. I rushed out of the car and into the hospital, my heart racing with worry.
Ivan met me at the entrance, his eyes red from crying. "Savannah, I'm so glad you're here. Dad's stable, but he needs to see you."
I nodded, following him to his room. As I entered, I saw my dad lying in the bed, his eyes weak but determined.ivette too was crying her eyes red from crying and she looked pretty weak
"Dad," I whispered, tears streaming down my face.
He smiled, his voice weak. "Savannah, my girl. I'm so proud of you."
I held his hand, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I was here for him, and I wouldn't leave his side until he was better. As we sat there, holding hands and looking at our dad, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. We were all together, and that's what mattered. Ivan, my younger brother, squeezed my hand reassuringly, and Ivette, my younger sister, leaned her head on my shoulder. We were a team, and we would get through this together.
The doctor came in and gave us an update on our dad's condition. He had suffered a heart attack, but he was stable and on the road to recovery. We all breathed a collective sigh of relief, and I felt a sense of gratitude towards the medical staff who had taken such good care of him, Dad was given a medicine few minutes ago which caused him to fall asleep.
As we waited for our dad to wake up, we chatted quietly, trying to distract each other from the worry and fear that had gripped us earlier. Ivan told us about his school basketball team, and Ivette shared stories about her school friends and how many fans she had on her t****k account. I listened, smiling, feeling grateful for these two amazing siblings who had always been there for me.
When our dad finally woke up, he looked at us with a weak but loving smile. "My three musketeers," he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "I'm so proud of you all."
We smiled back, tears streaming down our faces, and held his hands tightly.
As we sat there, holding our dad's hands, I felt a sense of joy and gratitude wash over me. We were all together, and our dad was going to be okay. Ivan, Ivette, and I exchanged smiles, and I knew that we were all thinking the same thing: we were lucky to have each other, and we were lucky to have our dad.
After a while, the doctor came in and said that our dad was stable enough to be moved to a regular room. We breathed a collective sigh of relief and followed the nurse as she wheeled our dad out of the ICU.
As we settled into the new room, Ivan pulled out his phone and started playing some music. Ivette started dancing in her seat, and I couldn't help but laugh. Our dad smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
"What's all the commotion about?" he asked, his voice a little stronger now.
"Just Ivette's dance party," I replied, grinning.
Our dad chuckled and shook his head. "You three are something else."
We spent the rest of the day chatting, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. It was a day I would never forget, a day that reminded me of the importance of family and the love we share.
As the sun began to set, Ivan and Ivette said their goodbyes and headed home, exhausted but relieved. I stayed behind, holding our dad's hand and watching him drift off to sleep.
"Thanks for being here, kiddo," he whispered before closing his eyes.
"Anytime, Dad," I replied, smiling. "I'll always be here for you.”
