Ava stood up and scanned the paper she has in her hand. Everything appears to be fine now that she has rearranged it. Every single one of the companies that Lily had chosen are reputable and isn’t that far from where they lived. Apart from a few that she had crushed out for either having a recent scandal or circled around having questionable work ethics, the rest of the names in the list were good. Great, even. Until she realized one fatal mistake. She rolled the swivel chair she was sitting on towards Lily who was hunched over a pile of papers and books. “Hey, Lil,” she called, and watched as Lily gave her the faintest of nods. “‘Sup? Is there a problem with the list?” “Uh, no. It’s just that … you know, we might’ve failed to put into account the fact that Giovanni owns a company.”
