Her last two days at the manor passed by in a blur. Giovanni still wasn’t talking to any of them and Luca refused to be found in the same room as her.
But it isn’t like she had any interest in doing either anyway.
She was too busy curling up into a ball outside on one of the coldest days of the month so she could at least feel like she was numbing the pain. Leo and Rafael would drop by sometimes to check on her or maybe even offer to take her to the city just so she could have a change of scenery.
She would say no every time and they know better than to force her into doing anything.
When Sunday evening came, Giovanni appeared in her room and stood by her bed, staring down at her.
