Giovanni is driving the car down a quiet, dimly lit road. The only sounds are the soft hum of the engine and the rhythmic breathing of Ava, Chris, Lily, and Percival, who are all sleeping soundly in the backseat.
Their heads rest either against the windows or on each other, faces relaxed in peaceful slumber. Giovanni glanced in the rearview mirror, a small smile playing on his lips as he sees how serene they all look.
As the car pulls into the driveway of Ava's home, the headlights cast a gentle glow on the mansion. Giovanni parks and turns off the engine, the sudden silence rousing Ava slightly.
