By the time they reached Dimitri’s hotel room, Giovanni’s patience had worn thin. He practically tossed Dimitri onto the bed without any care, his frustration palpable. “Hey, don’t just throw him like that!” Ava scolded, rushing to straighten Dimitri, though the man barely stirred, already half-asleep. Giovanni, meanwhile, was already tearing off his shirt, his face twisted in disgust. “You should be thankful I threw him on the bed. If it were up to me, I’d throw him off the balcony.” Ava bit her lip to keep from laughing, but a small chuckle slipped out. Giovanni caught it and shot her a withering glare.
