THIRD PERSON’s POV It had been days since their talk. As much as Ava tried to push the thoughts off towards the back of her head, it kept resurfacing the moment her eyes locks with her father’s during dinner or while she’s walking along the corridors of their house. Her mother had been uncharacteristically quiet the entire week. It wasn’t that she wasn’t speaking to her. It was just her way of giving her space to think.
