Ella’s POV
I sat in a place where, some people come and never make it out alive, praying for the man I love to get out of this coma, and love me again. The place rigged of antiseptics, sterile chemicals and the faint scent of medicine. It’s been 4 long months since Jordan was shot, and it has been the worst time of my life yet. Coming to the hospital everyday, having to see him in that position made me sick.
The day Doctor Liam had called me, my heart sank. How does something like that happen just when we’re about to start our lives together? Maya and I rushed to the hospital, but his family had been there way before us. His mum had driven me away asking me to stay away from her son and that I was the reason why he laid there, almost a corpse.
