My headaches were becoming worse by the minute, but I had to make sure Jane was safe from her hostile boyfriend. Earlier, I had him locked up and found Jane a new apartment to stay in. I told her to take some time off work as well.
Once she got in to the apartment and I was sure everything was okay, I left. I had told Jerome to set up an appointment with the investigator tomorrow, but I was eager to hear what he had to say, so we rescheduled. It was 5pm now and we were headed to a not so popular café out of Evergreen.
