Ever felt like there’s a volcano erupting in your head after setting eyes on the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen? Well, that was me the day I came face to face with Ella, or Jess as she likes it.
The anger on her face made my heart sad, something I didn’t know existed till her existence. She had looked at me with so much disdain, like I was the worst person she had ever come across.
I tried to speak, to let her know I’m sorry for being so stupid, but my speech decided to disappear on me. What the hell did I think would happen anyways? That she’d see the man who put her through so much and decide to hug him?
She had smiled beautifully at John and Jerome, but when she turned to leave, she didn’t spare me a glance, and that’s when my brain stopped, literally.
