Little Wolf

CERSI POV  (13 Years Ago)   I never thought this day would come. I have been protecting my two younger siblings for the past five years alone. I am currently twenty three. My hair is strawberry blonde and I am covered in freckles. I have a younger brother, Craven. He is only five years old right now. Our mother died the day she gave birth to him. Our father was found the next day dead in the woods. I can only assume it was rogues. My parents never fully explained why we were in hiding. They just packed us up, and moved away. I have a younger sister, Camora. I have always called her Cam though. She is the middle child at age nine. Craven and I share a lot of the same features, matching our mother. Our sister took after our father. She has his dark black hair, matching the color of their eyes. It is sometimes eerie. You would think you are looking into a black hole. She doesn't yet realize she has powers, she is just too young. It only has happened once, but if she stares into your soul she can feed from your energy. Craven is very out going for his age, he would be an amazing leader. Camora has always been the more shy and reserved one. I am a very good mix of both personalities. I take control when needed and watch after them. I never thought we would actually be found by the people chasing us down.  "Come out come out wherever you are little wolf. We know you are in here. You finally made a mistake after all of these years." A tall built man sneers.    I curse myself internally. I had to go into the town a few miles away for supplies. I was in such a rush to get back home I forgot to cover my tracks. I grab my little sweet siblings and usher them to the corner of our room. We don't have a large home. It is a one bedroom little cottage in the middle of the woods, but it was our home. I push on the wall and a little door opens up. It is not large enough for us all, so I place them inside gingerly but swiftly. Even if I could fit, I wouldn't go in. I need to get these men away and save them. They are too young for this evil world we live in. I have had to do many things I am not proud of to keep us safe and alive. I hear the men crashing down the doors now.  "I have to go Cam, please watch over your brother. I love you so much. Now listen to me. You will NOT open this door for any reason. I do not care what you hear, promise me!" I hold onto her tightly for one last hug.   "W-what is going on, Cersi??" She starts crying.   "Shhh shh. Please don't cry. You must be strong, little one. We will meet again. Now promise me." I plea.  "I promise.." She whispers.  I slowly close the door sneaking one last glimpse at them knowing I will never see their sweet faces again. I had this little secret hideout spelled years ago. No one will be able to scent them out as long as they are inside.             "She's in here boss!" A man with a crooked grin shouts.  I quickly stand and run for the kitchen area knocking over things to block the path. The men grin and start surrounding me in all directions. There are six, no seven of them.  "You should know a wolf loves the chase, love." I'm only assuming he is the one in charge.        I jump over the table and make a full on sprint for the front door. Before I can reach it I feel a burning sensation on my scalp. One of the men yanked me back by my hair shoving me down to the ground, surely ripping out multiple hairs.   "Let go of me you f*****g scum bag!" I scream and claw at his arm.  The men all start laughing like this is all some sick game to them. The boss man leans down to my face showing me his large canines.   "You are mine now." His eyes flicker black and back to his deep brown.  I spit in his face and thrash around again. He wipes it off and stands. I would have thought he would be beating me by now, but he is being calm and collected which is even more terrifying. I shiver at this thought.   He takes notice of this and smiles once again.  "You are lucky I need your face pretty, girl. I would suggest not trying that again though. I am sure whoever buys you will not be thrilled."   "B-buying me?? What the hell are you talking about! Please just let me go! I don't even know why you have been chasing me!"  I make sure to say me, and not us.          "Oh now you want to play nice, huh? "   He pulls me up and roughly grabs my chin.  "Your father cast me out years ago when he was Alpha, You can blame him." He spits out like the words  were acid.   "Alpha?? You must be mistaken! It is someone else you are after! My father was never an alpha!" I try to reason with the man.   "Poor girl. You don't even know you have the alpha blood in you. You will fetch me a nice price." He proudly says.  With those last words a needle was plunged into my shoulder blade and I only saw complete and utter darkness.
