Zane rushed off the boat after his last adventure and hurried to Kristen’s house. She wasn’t supposed to come home between her shift at the tasting room and dinner. She took a change of clothes with her, but Zane needed a shower.
He stripped off his clothes and jumped in the shower. He went quickly so he’d have enough time to finish up what he wanted to do before he had to leave for dinner.
He dried off and rushed back to Kristen’s bedroom. He got dressed in his khaki shorts and white button down. He ran a hand through his hair and stuffed his dirty clothes in his bag, then pulled out the other bag he had in there.
