Kristen couldn’t get the idea of hiking Taughannock Falls out of her mind after talking to the couple wine tasting days ago. After the picnic Sunday, she talked Zane, Ian, and Oliver into taking a hike to the falls.
“I haven’t been there in years. How have you never been?” Kristen asked Zane. “You should totally lead hikes through there.”
Zane shrugged and said he’d look into it.
Kristen led the men from the parking lot to the head of the Gorge Trail. She was practically vibrating with excitement as she started down the path toward the waterfall.
“Is she always like this?” Oliver asked from behind her.
“Yep,” Ian answered. “Except first thing in the morning. She’s not a morning person.”
“That’s the truth,” Zane said.
Kristen turned back and stuck her tongue out at him.
