Ian snapped another picture and texted it to Kristen. “What do you think of this one?”
She was silent for a few seconds then said, “No. It’s not right. I don’t know what it is, but something is missing.”
“Ugh,” Ian groaned and flopped onto his bed. “This would have been so much easier if you’d just come over here like I asked you.”
“I can’t,” she whispered. “Andie and I are supposed to be hanging out tonight.”
“Why are you whispering?” Ian asked.
“She’s talking to Cody. I don’t know what’s going on, but they haven’t seen much of each other this summer and they’ve been arguing a lot. I feel bad for them.”
