Ian headed back to his office after Kristen was done getting her tattoo. He made sure to ask about her going in the water, even though she had more tattoos than he could remember and knew how to take care of them.
Once Oliver gave Kristen specific instructions and said goodbye to them, they were out the door and heading in opposite directions.
Ian parked in the small lot outside his office and went inside. The blast of cool air made him shiver just slightly as he made his way up the stairs of the old mansion to his office. The three partners were on the second floor with space for the four associates. Ian shared an office with one of the newer associates. Trevor was only two years out of law school, but he was sharp. Ian had no doubt Trevor would be a partner one day.
