Hazel finally slowed down from running around. Her fur was covered in dust and small twigs. She gave herself a healthy shake attempting to get it out. Stretching out she ambled over to a small clearing in the trees near a small creek. She leaned down lapping the cool water. The sounds of small forest animals scurrying around, the bright moon up ahead. She sat down and looked up at the sky full of stars above her. Who could ask for a better night? Sitting underneath an almost full moon had always been one of her favorite things to do.
Hunter had been tracking the scent which was growing stronger to just outside a small clearing. He had been running through the trees hard desperate to not loose the trail. Suddenly he stopped short, the next couple steps would take him to the small clearing by a creek. The one he had been dreaming about for weeks now. What if there was nothing in that clearing? What if it was only just a dream and nothing else? He couldn't just stand there waiting and not knowing! He cautiously took those couple of steps right into the clearing.
Sitting underneath the light of the moon sat the most beautiful wolf he'd ever seen. Her fur was auburn just like in his dreams. He blinked a few times just in case he was hallucinating. Nope the wolf was still there. She had heard him behind her and turned to look at him. A white patch almost like a star sat upon her forehead and her eyes were a gorgeous light green. MATE! MATE! Hunter wanted to go a claim her desperately. Mark her and show the world that she was his. Tyler was struggling to contain him. He wanted to get to know his mate not just claim her in the woods like an animal.
Hazel had caught a whiff of another wolf nearby. When she had turned she saw the large black wolf she'd been dreaming about. The one with blue eyes. He was just sitting there starring at her, every instinct in her was demanding that she go over there and make this mate thing official. Natalie was so scared of getting rejected again. She didn't even know who it was. She lost control of Hazel however and bounded right over to. Hazel playfully nipped her new mate's neck. Hunter's eyes darkened with desire. Tyler tried and failed to restrain him.
Hunter nipped at Hazel's rear. He wanted to mount her but could not unless she consented. Even in wolf form it was forbidden to take a female with their consent. Mated or not. As they didn't even know each other's name the had yet to commit to the human mating process. Having relations in their wolf forms would not result in pregnancy until they completed that step. Hunter liked the idea of having pups with this wolf.
Mating is one of the most sacred things you can do as a werewolf. As humans there has to be a verbal consent and an exchange of bites. In wolf form however all the female wolf has to do to acknowledge she consents is present the male with her neck and that signifies she is willing to have relations. This beautiful wolf offered her neck to Hunter and just like the animal he was he mounted her hard and fast.
Hazel lay next to this big beautiful wolf. They had not said a word through their mind link to one another yet. She didn't even know who he was but this moment was by far one of the happiest she had experienced as a wolf or human. She nuzzled up to him and drifted off to sleep.
