The tour of the Catherine was interesting and it was great to get out with other people for a change, other than my little circle of acquaintances. That decided me that it was time to get away for a while. This was supposed to be stress leave. I was sure Erna didn"t expect me to walk away from the case and then do all the work from home. I sort of resented the pull on my time and brain power that the cops demanded because they weren"t competent to put things together themselves. Of course, I hadn"t put it all together yet, either, but Mark and I had a fine beginning to it. We"d figured out the possible suspects, or some of them, and what we"d do about it. I had more ideas, too.
