The meal was really, really good, and I mean Mrs. P is a dang good old-fashioned cook. That ham was a Virginia ham, pink and white and perfectly marbled, and the garlic mashed potatoes were to die for, the casseroles and the dinner rolls fresh out of the oven, the wine with the meal (which I couldn"t drink, of course, being a former wino myself as everyone knew), the pumpkin pie and brandy whipped cream (which I ate) for dessert, the pickles and relish and salads, oh my, we were stuffed like turkeys when that meal was over. Only thing is, we had to say grace before the meal, being as how it was special and all, Easter and everything, but besides that, it was a very good day.
