Chapter 6Caspian was aware of every muscle in Flynn’s body tensing. But why walk all the way back when they could cross the bridge and be back at his place in a few minutes? “You want to turn back?” “Yes.” The reply was instant. “Why?” He didn’t respond, so Caspian shrugged. “Shall we go through town this time?” They could walk through the pedestrian area and across the square. “No, not through town.” Caspian frowned at him. “What’s going on?” “Nothing.” He didn’t want to walk over the footbridge by the hydroelectric plant, and he didn’t want to walk through town. Caspian shook his head. “Come on. We’ll walk across the hydroelectric plant. Your house is right on the other side, and it’ll only take a few minutes, and we have a bookshelf to photograph.” Flynn looked pale in the dark
