He's back

Agnes POV

"Are you okay" I asked and she pressed her inhaler again nodding

"I'm fine mum" she said her breath still unsteady and I knew it will not be easy for her to forget this time around

Therapy worked just fine and thankfully she didn't kill him the last time

"Are you going to be fine" she asked and I nodded "you know he's not back for me" I said

"I'm fine" she said and took her bag hurriedly before she left, I just hope she will be fine

Peony POV

I can't believe he's back, he broke out of prison to come back and make me miserable

I have to get out of this country just go anywhere for the meantime

"I'm at your destination" the taxi driver said and I stepped out before heading inside

"Where did you go to" Daren asked and I ignored him making my way to my room and started packing

I could lay low in Mexico for a while or maybe Canada or maybe.....gosh peony you are going crazy

"Hey I do the ignoring peony and where are you going to" Daren asked

"Somewhere far away" I said and shoved some clothes into my bag

"Why?" He asked and I turned to face him "I don't know"

"I see you are going crazy" he said and took a step forward and Mason's face flashed before my eyes

"Don't come near me" I said and shifted back "Are you okay" he asked and took steps forward

I ran to my wardrobe and brought out a knife I kept just in case, though I was over it with therapy I had my fears

"Stay back Daren" I said as I saw Mason's face on his

"So you are really crazy aren't you" he said and moved closer to me

"Please stay back" I said crying and the next thing I saw was Daren on the floor with the knife in his tummy

"I'm sorry, OMG what have I done" I said and moved closer to him

"I'm sorry" I said crying and put my hand on his stomach after removing the knife

"Call someone" he said groaning and I nodded before rushing to pick up my phone

"Hello" Mary said at the other end "I stabbed Daren it was a mistake" I said crying

"Where are you" she asked "I'm at home" I said and she cut the call while I went over to Daren who was loosing a lot of blood "I'm sorry" I said again crying

Writer's POV

A stroller was rushed inside the hospital to the emergency room and Peony and Mary followed suit but were stopped from entering the room

"I didn't mean to do do it, it was a mistake" Peony said her hands which was stained with blood shaking as she sobbed

"It's okay" Mary said and hugged her, minutes later Daren and Peony parents rushed in

"You witch you want to kill my son" Linda said and slapped Peony

"Linda that was much, it was a mistake" Mateo her husband said

"Nothing must happen to him" Linda threatened as she cried

"I'm sorry" Peony said still crying "Get out of my sight" Linda said and Mary led peony away

Haven POV

I rushed into the hospital and met everyone there except from peony "Where's peony" I asked and Agnes told me they were in the restroom

I'm so going to kill her, why did she stab him is she mental?

"Are you insane?, what if he dies" I asked barging into the restroom

"He won't let's be positive" Mary said and I eyed her

"Have you suddenly gone dumb you murderer" I asked angrily

"It was mistake" she muttered looking at her hands and I looked at her not knowing what to say

She looked like the Peony that walked into my house 8 years ago with her mother, she attended therapy to get over something I didn't quite understand

"Why did you do it" I asked calmly this time around and she looked at me

"He came back" she said and I raised my right eyebrow confused "Who is back?" I asked "My Dad" she said

Writer's POV

"How is he" Peony said and they rushed towards the doctor who stepped out Daren's room

"He's fine thankfully the cut wasn't that deep" the doctor said and asked "Who is peony"

"I'm the one" peony said "He asked of you, he's conscious now but try not to stress him" the doctor said and left

"Why can't I go and see my son, it has to be the woman who stabbed him" Linda complained and Peony looked at her before going to Daren's room

Peony pushed in half of her body first and looked around before completely entering

She walked towards Daren whose eyes was closed

"I'm sorry" she said again and tears began to drop from her eyes

"You really look ugly crying" Daren said and smiled as he opened his eyes

"I'm really sorry" Peony said as she cleaned her tears

"It's okay, what happened" Daren asked and pointed to the seat beside him, peony looked at him before she sat down

"My Dad broke out of prison" she said and looked at Daren who waited for her to continue

"He used to molest me when I was young, he would also beat me and my mum" she said and paused letting the tears flow before she continued

"He would beat me so much that sometimes I find myself in the hospital when I wake up, It ended when I was Eleven, I stabbed him and my mum called the police and since then he was in prison"

"I'm so sorry" Daren said and peony cleaned her tears

"I'm glad you are okay" peony said and smiled sadly

"I can't die yet, I still have a something important to do" Daren said and smiled at her

Their eyes met and peony smiled, Daren reached for her hand and caressed it while flashing her a smile, the door opened and they turned their heads to the door

"I see you guys are getting cozy" Haven said "She shouldn't, she almost killed him" Linda said

"Mum!" Daren said "Sorry, for a moment I thought you were going to die" Linda said

"It's not like she stabbed me in the heart" Daren said still holding peony hand

"What if she did" Linda said and her husband glared at her

"Fine, I'm sorry peony" she apologized "it's okay, can we give them some privacy" Mary said and led everyone out

Haven POV

Why did her Dad come back this time, wait hope it isn't what I'm thinking, Annie can't possibly break him out can she?
