"Peony hurry up" Agnes her mother shouted "How be back and besides my so called husband isn't here", peony shouted back while her mother signed and there was a knock on the door, agnes stood up and opened revealing the Gates family. "It's nice to see you Linda" Agnes said as she hugged Mrs Gates "How is everything" Linda asked after they had disengaged from each other "Everything is good" Agnes said "Are you going to let them in?" Mateo peony Dad said "My bad please come in" Agnes said and made way for them to enter "You look good Adam" Mateo said and stood up to shake his hand.

"Where's Peony?" Linda asked. "I was about to say the same thing about Daren." Agnes said "He is" Linda was cut short when the door opened and, at the same time peony showed up on the stairs.

"Sorry Amore was making me tie her shoes" Daren said and his sister who was beside him grinned "Amore you need to learn that he's not your maid" Linda scolded. "But he is my brother" Amore said and held on to Daren's hand "Hey everyone I'm here" peony said as she descended from the stairs

"If it isn't the bride" Linda said and went to hug her "I was staring to think I was invisible" peony said after she broke the hug. After greetings were made peony moved over to Daren's side and held his hand "Get away from my brother" Amore said standing up from her seat "Sorry baby girl he's my fiance" peony said "Daren never told me her was getting married" Amore said twisting her face about to cry while Daren scratched the back of his hair nervously "Come let's go get something in my room I will make sure to deal with Daren later" peony said and stretched out her hand to Amore who's face lightened up. Putting her hand into her hand into peony's they were about to leave the room when the someone knocked on the door "Come in" Agnes said looking confused as they were not expecting anyone, the door opened and peony turned to look at the person.

"Anyone miss me" Haven asked as she closed the door behind her "Not much", Peony said before she went upstairs with Amore, making Haven scoff "She couldn't even welcome her step-sister". Haven said and turned to everyone.

"Why are you all looking like that" she asked. "Maybe cus you never told us you were coming" Agnes said "I thought it was my father's house", Haven said before she greeted the guests and made her way to seat beside her father.

One of the maids entered and informed them that the table was set and everyone moved to the dining table. "Daren, could you please go and call Peony and Amore" Agnes said, and Daren looked at her in a weird way, sensing her son's deamor Linda hopped into the conversation "Of course he would love to". "Thanks last room by your left" Agnes said and Daren bowed his head a little before making his way upstairs "You should have sent me" Haven said "He's her Fiancé so let him do it"Mateo said and silence reigned.

Peony POV

"So you are a nerd," Amore asked "I was." I said, tired of this conversation. After we had gotten into my room, she went through my stuff and found where I kept my trophies. "A nerd is always a nerd" she said and flipped her hair, not wanting to listen to anything. I was saying "Can we change the topic." I asked "No nerd" she said and giggled

The door opened and Daren stepped inside like he owned the room, his eyes surveyed the room before landing on the both of us who were sitting on the bed. "Haven't you heard of a verb called knocking". I asked "Nerd stuff", Amore said, and I gave her a slight knock on the head. "Your mum wants you downstairs for dinner" he said, ignoring my first statement.

"Tell her I'm fine here" I said, and he gave me an eyebrow "I'm not your messenger". He said "You should convince her since you too are also getting married." Amore said "Less talking and more cuddling," she said, and walked out, leaving me stunned.
