The Hybrid In-Disguise

Will you please just shut up?!

" Mom... Mom... Don't leave. Mom!" I woke up from my deep sleep. What was that? Ugh, now I can't remember it 'cause I keep trying to remember. Was I saying ' Mom'? Nevermind. I gotta take Abby to school.

   I got ready as fast as possible, took a refreshing bath, made breakfast, now the only thing left is to drop Abby off at school. I sighed.

          " Abby! Time to get ready. We-" I stopped when I felt my phone vibrate.

        ' Dear students of The Silvermoth Academy, 

              I hereby announce that our current principal, owner of the academy, is going to be stepping down from their current position to a regular position, as a teacher, for the reason, letting one or even two of the most dangerous hybrids into the academy and making them take over, and so now, we will be punishing them for doing so. And if anybody notices anything, such as weird and unusual activities like a hybrid's, please report to the office immediately. '

     " Abby! Come here now!" I shouted, and so, she ran downstairs as fast as she can. " What is it, sister?"

 She asked me, then I showed her the message that one of the teachers sent us. " Oh, My holy Lord. Well, what do we do now?" She said. 

    " Well, first of all, is a given already, to keep a low profile." she nodded. After reading that disturbing message, we ate breakfast trying not to think about it, talking about fun and interesting things.

 After dropping Abby at school, I looked at the time on my phone, I only had 10 minutes to not be late, and so, I drove as fast as I could. 

 Ha! Only took me over three minutes. Yeah! Still, even thinking about a lot of things, such as, how many ice cream flavors there can be, what will happen on the year 3045, will we be caught? Ugh, still can't stop thinking about that message.

 Maybe it was just a prank, yeah, a meaningless but specific, meaningless prank. But what if it's not a prank? What will happen then? The voice in my thoughts stopped when I bumped into somoene. It was Bruce! Ugh, stupid, stupid, stupid annoying voice. Ugh! 

     " Will you please just shut up?!" Oh my god. I just shouted my thought in front of people, especially Bruce. " Bruce! Oh my god, I am so sorry! I didn't mean it! I really didn't!" I explained to him why I was feeling stressed/ scared. " Can you show me the message?" He asked me.

 This was one of those times in a telenovela where they bump into their crush and then feels so amazing, but this wasn't one of those times. 

     " Here."  I showed him the message. " ' Dear students of The Silvermoth Academy,  I hereby announce that..." He mumbles. Oh! He is just lovely " D-did you get one too?" I asked him curiously. He then checked his phone. 

    " Sorry, it's just that I haven't checked my phone yet this morning." He said shyly. " Oh no it's totally fine." I replied accidentally putting my hands on his shoulders shaking, I was too distracted in the moment that I didn't notice his face getting all red until I nervously put my hands behind my back. 

         * Bell ringing* 

 " Oh! It's the bell... I should go. You should go." We said in unison. " Okay... Well, Bye then."  We said it again together. So we both just turned around shyly and went to our classes.
