"I'm glad you made it on time."
Marceline rushed up to me, placing a disposable umbrella in my hands.
"Thanks", i took the umbrella, my hands soaked from the drizzling rain. "What's the update?."
Marceline raised her eyes, shaking her head repeatedly. " She just got here, so far........ there's been nothing. I think they're still sorting things out."
I parted my lips slightly, raising my head to see the dark crest fallen skies. It looked dull and the slow yet persistent rain only intensified the feeling of impending gloom even more.
"I think it's best if you stayed here at the exit........to help keep an eye out for any vehicle that might leave this premises", i spoke in a breath.
